Its time to hang up my mug and say goodbye to childminding after 31 years 🥹. As of yesterday I'm officially retired! What an emotional day 🥹. My parents well and truly spoiled me with lots of lovely gifts and cards at pick up time. There were many tears and I will miss my little ones but will also be proud that I was part of their early life and helped to nurture them. It was so lovely to see 2 ex mindees yesterday too who are now both bigger than me! Thank you to you all 😊

Heading towards my retirement after 31 years of childminding and 80 + children, I watched my last 3 mindees add their little fingerprints to my leavers tree 😢. I have had the best children and families and I hope they keep in touch 😊. It's always good to hear how my ex mindees are getting on so congratulations to one of my ex mindees on gaining a 1st in their university degree 🎉 and good luck to another awaiting his GCSE results! 🎉

We went to our fantastic free museums this week ☺️. We had a great time seeing skeletons, pottery, an old boat, a ride in an old car and carriage and we laughed with the Laughing Policeman. We had a picnic in the museum gardens and fed the fish ☺️
