Welcome to new followers!
I haven't posted for a while - the good news is that all my spaces are full, so I've been very busy.
However, I have some in-person after school spaces coming up in June and a few more in September, so please contact me if you are interested in tuition for literacy or numeracy difficulties. Daytime in-person or online lessons are available now.
I work with a wide range of students, from Y2 to Y12, creating an individual programme of support for each pupil.
I have experience helping students with maths difficulties up to and including foundation GCSE Maths.

A recent review from a happy parent: "Your work with N has been excellent; we've all noticed his progress. I think, before he came to you, he was at risk of becoming stagnant and disinterested, but the relationship you have established with him, alongside exactly the teaching style he needs, has redeemed that. He is now operating at a level that he has the skills he needs to manage his GCSE's and there was a time we thought that might not happen."

I work with pupils aged 7 to 15 with literacy or numeracy difficulties. I have a 1:1 slot available now on Fridays 3.45-4.45pm. From mid June, I will have a rare Saturday morning slot 11-12.

I’ve recently received a lovely review on Google from the parent of two of my pupils.

Some late-afternoon tuition slots are currently available for children and adults who need support with literacy or maths difficulties. Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.30-5.30pm and Fridays 3.45-4.45pm.

New review from a parent:
My 13 year old son went to Andrea for an hour’s session every Tuesday night. He sometimes didn’t want to go due to wanting to be out with friends or gaming. However he still went and no matter what mood he turned up in Andrea was patient with him and he always came out saying he’d had a good session. He finds English really hard and I feel Andrea knew where he was at helping him with patience and respect. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrea for any child needing extra help with English or Maths.
Andrea is very professional and her room is set up well with all the correct resources. Thank you Andrea for helping my son who has made progress since attending your sessions!

Do you have a child with significant reading, spelling or maths difficulties? A couple of 1:1 sessions are now available: Tuesdays 4.30-5.15pm and Saturdays 11am-12pm. Some paired sessions are also available for suitable pupils.

A shared lesson slot for dyslexia support has become available on Saturdays 11-12 with a 13-year-old boy. Cost is £30 per lesson (a 25% discount on the usual 1:1 cost). For more information: https://hopedyslexia.uk/

Two 1:1 after-school tutoring slots are now available: Mondays 7-8pm and Thursdays 3.30-4.20pm. Suitable for ages 7-adult with literacy or numeracy difficulties. Face to face at my home in Hull.
