I wish someone had taught me this during my dissertation.

It would have saved me months of waiting for replies.

Your mentor wants to help you.

You just need to make it easy for them to say yes.

Save this for your next mentor email, and send it to a friend who's still waiting on a reply 🫶🏻

I built my publication record without a PhD, a research fellowship or protected research time.

What I did have was a clear process, and I followed it on every single project.

That process took me from 0 papers to 7 in one year.

And it’s exactly what I teach everyone who wants to publish research.

✨ Comment “TRAINING” and I’ll send you the training where I break it down step by step.

Every paper I've published since started with one decision I made after that dissertation.

I stopped carrying everything on my own.

My best friend was the reason my second project felt possible, and I've never properly thanked her.

So here it is: thank you, for being beside me when I had no idea what I was doing 🫶🏻

When you’re new to research, almost everything feels important.

Which topic should you choose?

Which study design?

Who do you need on the team?

What should you read first?

When should you start writing?

Most beginners don’t struggle because they can’t do the work.

They struggle because nobody has shown them which decisions to make, and in what order.

Once you understand that sequence, research starts feeling much less like a collection of disconnected tasks and much more like a project you can actually move forward.

✨ Comment “TRAINING” and I’ll send you the beginner training I created to walk you through that process step by step.

When I published my first research paper, I had no idea how much it would change my career.

At the time, I was working full-time as a doctor, trying to find the time to do research alongside everything else.

I wasn’t thinking about all the opportunities that could come from it. I was simply trying to learn, improve and get my work published.

Looking back, I’m so glad I kept going.

Because research eventually became much more than something I did to strengthen my CV.

It gave me the skills, experience and confidence to make career decisions I would never have imagined at the beginning.

And that’s exactly why I care so much about helping other doctors and scientists get started.

I want you to see research as something you can use to build the career you want, whatever that looks like for you.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. You just need a clear place to start.

✨ Comment “TRAINING” and I’ll send you my beginner-friendly research training to help you take your first steps towards publication.

I went from struggling to understand how research publication worked to publishing consistently while working full-time as a doctor.

Not because research suddenly became easy.

Because I stopped approaching every project from scratch and started following strategies I could repeat.

You can discover those strategies one mistake, abandoned project and rejected paper at a time.

Or you can compress the learning curve by learning what has already worked.

✨ Comment “TRAINING” if you want to start building your research papers with the strategies I personally use.

I went from 0 papers to 7 in a single year, and published 24 papers across 3 consecutive years, while working full-time as a doctor.

What helped me was becoming more intentional about my time and finding research strategies I could realistically follow alongside my work.

With each project, I became clearer about what worked, what I could improve, and how to make the next one feel more manageable.

Now I want to share those lessons with you, so you can adapt them to your own ideas, your schedule and the skills you already have.

If you’re ready to build your first or next research paper, I’d love to help you get started.
