Lilly-Jayne chose The Boy I Love, which has been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal for Writing 2026. It is a sweeping love story set against the horror of the First World War battlefront.

What a fantastic Culture week it has been at the academy. Well done done to our top two entries for the ‘cultural egg’ competition.

Come and join our coffee morning on Wenesday 25th March during culture week. Taste breakfast items from around the world and chat to our staff about wellbeing and SEN support. Our Parent Governor will also be attending so feel free to share any ideas or thoughts with him regarding our school. 8.40am - 10am in the canteen. See you there!

This week at The Boulevard academy it is our Culture week. We as an academy are proud of the different cultures that we will be showcasing this week, which is representative of the students and staff we have.

Last week our eco committee and arts council took part in a series of workshops exploring pollution through physical theatre.

We also got to see the show Castaway. Thank you to Highly Sprung performance - our year 7 cohort loved it.

Comic relief- We hosted a bake sale on Friday to raise money for comic relief! We raised £134.30. Thank you to everyone who supported the event.
