🌙💙 Safer Sleep Matters in Every Early Years Setting 💙🌙
As nursery and early years professionals, we all have a role to play in keeping babies safe while they sleep.
Creating a safer sleep environment means:
✔️ Always placing babies on their back for sleep
✔️ Using a firm, flat mattress
✔️ Keeping cots free from pillows, quilts, toys and loose bedding
✔️ Checking babies regularly while they sleep
✔️ Ensuring babies do not become too hot
By following safer sleep guidance consistently and working closely with families, we can help provide the safest possible sleep environment for every child in our care.
Thank you to all early years practitioners for your commitment to children's health, wellbeing and safety every day.

If you would like a copy of any safer sleep guidance please speak to a member of our team! 😁
