🌟 Year 11 Results Day- Thursday 20th August 🌟

1 week to go!!

Our Leavers 2026 will receive their GCSE results next Thursday!

Students are invited to collect results from 9.30am.

We can’t wait to see them all and see how they have done. Careers support will also be available on the day.

**MOBILE PHONE FREE**

The DfE have mandated that schools become a mobile phone and smart device free environment.

From September mobile phones and smart devices are not allowed to be seen or heard on the Academy grounds.

This means before students enter the grounds, phones must be turned off and in school bags not pockets. They must remain turned off and in bags until outside of the grounds at the end of the day

Please refer to the letter sent via MyEd for further information.

**UNIFORM REMINDER**

Reminder of uniform expectations:

- Trousers and skirts must be black, straight leg not skinny
Trousers must be from Steady Schoolwear or purchased elsewhere and brought to the Academy to be approved and stamped
- Trouser material must not be elasticated or of a stretchy fit.
- Trouser length must sit to the top of the shoe.
- Skirt from Steady Schoolwear
- Skirt length should sit just above the knee.

**Piercings**

Just a reminder that no piercings are allowed other than 1 pair of studs earrings, which must be removed for PE.

If you are getting any piercings over the summer holidays make sure they are done in time to remove them before coming back to school in September

Amazon came in to donate 40, beautifully wrapped books to our Sirius North students. It was a wonderful surprise for all students involved and we look forward to working with Amazon in the future.
