We are bursting with pride. Last week, our son Jacob graduated from Calman College a specialist college focused on life skills, employment and the transition beyond college life.
As parents of a young man with severe autism, we believe firmly that milestones like this deserve exactly the same celebration as any neurotypical child’s, sometimes even more. The road hasn’t always been easy for Jacob, but he has worked so hard this year, and the achievements speak for themselves.
Alongside his graduation, Jacob has also successfully completed his Duke of Edinburgh Award, delivered at a level tailored to him, a huge accomplishment in its own right and a real testament to how far he has come.
We’re delighted to share that Jacob is moving straight into meaningful work. He’ll be at a farm 5 days a week, and he’ll also be helping his team deliver food from the food bank to people who need it. It’s work that matters, for the animals he’ll care for and the people he’ll support, and we couldn’t be prouder that he’s contributing to his community in a way that’s genuinely his own.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible team at , both his care staff and his education staff, who have supported Jacob every step of the way this year. Thank you for helping him reach the end of this chapter, and for everything you do.
A huge thank you also to Debbie & Peter B, for so generously letting us use Hesslewood for our photos to mark this special day.
Proud parents 💕💕

Tour du Mont Blanc, in the bag ✅🏔️
Italy 🇮🇹 France 🇫🇷 Switzerland 🇨🇭, walked every step, legs wrecked, heart so full 😅
Met the most brilliant people out there, so many laughs about how tough it was, so many good conversations along the way 🙈
Every now and then you just need to switch off, get outside, and remember what your body is actually capable of 🙏
Feeling grateful. Feeling recharged. Feeling properly alive again ✨

After a couple of crazy weeks, it’s been so good to get outside and make the most of this weather.
I never take it for granted, the fact that our bodies let us do the things we love, move, train, walk, laugh in the sunshine. It’s easy to forget how lucky that is until you stop and actually notice it.
I’m so grateful to work with the people I do too. Genuinely lucky to spend my days with clients who show up, put the effort in, and make the job feel like anything but work.
And a special mention to Nurse Farrow and Nurse Batty, sponsored by the glass of wine, dumbbells and resistance band in hand, who were supposed to be doing their homework! 😂😂. Couldn’t love either of you more. 🫶

✨ What an evening at last night as part of Humber Business Week.
So thrilled to have been invited to the private preview of this stunning new venue, right here on our East Yorkshire doorstep. Georgian interiors, beautiful gardens, a brand new bar and club rooms, and the most elegant Carriage House setting for canapés and cocktails.
Even more thrilled to be there supporting the incredible women behind it, and .waugh . Watching my gorgeous clients bring a vision like this to life is exactly why I love what I do. 🙌
If you haven’t visited yet, put it firmly on your list. You won’t be disappointed. 🥂✨

Race for Life, Windsor 🎀
What an absolutely amazing day yesterday at Race for Life in Windsor!
This was my second year doing this event and it just gets better every time. The sun was shining, the atmosphere was electric, and the park was full of the most incredible people all there for the same reason.
We met around 70 people throughout the day, every single one of them with their own story and their own reason for being there. Those conversations are what stay with you.
And I have to give a massive shoutout to this guy 👆 I spotted him mid-race absolutely smashing it, and noticed he was wearing a Myzone belt, which all my clients train with. I had to stop him for a photo after he crossed that finish line! The effort zones he was hitting were just incredible, what an absolute machine.
As someone who works in cancer prehabilitation and rehabilitation, days like this mean everything to me. It’s not just a fun run, it’s a reminder of what we’re all working towards, better outcomes, more life, more movement, more hope.
Already can’t wait for next year. 🎗️💪

First bike ride of the year at Kielder Forest and what a way to start! 🚴♀️ Tougher than expected but absolutely worth every pedal for those breathtaking views, the forest looked stunning today! Forgot to turn my Myzone on (TP classic!) but trust me, double whatever it would have shown! 💪😄🚴♀️
