On Wednesday afternoon, local health visitors came in to work with year 3. We discussed ways of infant feeding and made pieces of art! The childrens art work is going to be displayed in a gallery on Humber Street during the summer holidays!

Well done to Lighthouse for achieving 100% Attendance today!

Year 4T had a fantastic day visiting Eureka in Halifax, to launch their new science topic - sound! They took part in a light and sound workshop, learned more about the human body and experienced life skills! They represented St Richard’s wonderfully.

Year 4B had a fantastic day visiting Eureka in Halifax, to launch their new science topic - sound! They took part in a light and sound workshop, learned more about the human body and experienced life skills! They represented St Richard’s wonderfully.

Our Pentecost Party was a wonderful celebration. We shared our learning in a special assembly, showcasing the activities we had completed during the afternoon, before enjoying bubbles and ice lollies together in the sunshine.

The Foundation Stage Sports Day was a fun-filled event, with children enjoying a range of activities and races. They showed great enthusiasm and confidence, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.
