A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part in our Easter colouring competition – we were absolutely blown away by all the fantastic entries! The creativity, colour, and effort that went into each one made it very difficult to choose our winners. 🎨✨

We’re so proud of all who entered – you should all feel very egg-stra special! 🐰💛

A big congratulations to our winners (see photos below!) 🏆👏

Thank you again for your continued support of the PTFA – it truly means so much and helps us create fun opportunities like this for the children.

🐰🌸 EASTER COLOURING COMPETITION 🌸🐰

Kingsteignton PTFA are excited to announce our Easter Colouring Competition! 🎨✨

🗓 Entry sheets available from the playground (morning & afternoon)

📅 27th March – 1st April (morning only on this day)

💷 Just 50p per entry (cash & card accepted!)

🏆 There will be 2 winners per class, each winning a yummy chocolate prize! 🍫

✅️ Completed entries can be handed to Mrs Smith in the school office.

📢 Winners will be announced in assembly on 2nd April.

We can’t wait to see all the amazing creations! 🌈🐣

On Friday, we kicked off our Samba sessions, which we are providing for every child at Kingsteignton School! 💜

First up was KS1, where pupils explored the use of percussion in Samba music — even taking the instruments outside! 🪇

This is the first of several sessions for KS1, continuing into the Summer Term. KS2 will also take part, with whole-day sessions planned for the Summer Term. ☀️

Once again, these opportunities would not be possible without the support of our community at our events.

We have some very exciting news! ✨️

In May, every child at Kingsteignton School will recieve an hours First Aid session, led by Becca first aid training. 🏥 We felt, as a team, that this will enhance our curriculum offer and will certainly support the school's 11 by 11 initiative! 💜

This is just one example of how the funds we raise can support your children! A huge thank you to you all for making this happen! ⭐️

As always, the PTFA like to get involved in Kingsteigton School's World Book Day celebrations.

This year, we...

- teamed up with our Year 6 librarians to buy every class a brand new book for their classroom. The librarians wrapped these up and delivered them to each class on World Book Day. We love being able to spend our money to benefit every child... especially when it comes to reading! 💜

- looked very carefully at all of the costumes during the whole school costume parade and had the trickiest decision of who, from each class, was to win the goodie bag. These were ever so kindly donated by one of our PTFA members. A HUGE thank you to her! We are sure you will agree, we had 8 very worthy winners... 🏆

WOW! What a huge success our Golden Book Bar stall was yesterday! 🎉

A huge well done to our winners and a massive thank you to you all for NEARLY making us sell out! 🙏

However... there is still at least one ticket to be found! 😲

The very small selection will be on sale afterschool today so, if you missed out, do come and try your chances! 💜

Next week is World Book Day and, in true PTFA style, we are holding our Golden Book Bar stall again! 🎉

Cash and card payments accepted!

❓️How does it work? It's very simple...

Buy a chocolate bar, open it up and see if you can find a golden ticket! 🎫

If you can, you win a book related prize! 📚

Mothers and Others – Coffee & Cake Event!

We’d love for you to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon to celebrate the amazing women in our children’s lives.

📅 Date: 13th March 2026
🕓 Time: 4:00pm
📍 Location: School Hall

🎟 Tickets: £8 per adult
(Each adult ticket covers one adult plus their child/children who attend the school)

Your ticket includes:
☕ Tea or coffee (soft drinks also available)
🍰 A piece of cake for each person
🎉 Fun activities including bingo and a craft

💐 Mrs Evans (a trained florist) will also be back raffling off the most gorgeous bouquets!

Tickets will be on a first come first served basis and will be available at the following times:
💜 Tuesday 24th Feb – before school (from 8.25am)
💜 Wednesday 25th Feb – afterschool (at 3pm)
💜 Thursday 26th Feb – before school (from 8.25am)
💜 Friday 27th Feb – afterschool (at 3pm)

The Christmas Art Exhibition this week has to be one of our favourite events yet! ✨️

For those who missed it, here’s a little look at what we had on offer! ⭐️

Taking centre stage, of course, was the children’s truly amazing artwork, alongside three creative stations: magical reindeer food, hanging wreath decorations, and ceramic bauble designing. 🎅

It was such a wonderfully festive evening—filled with the joy of watching children’s faces light up as they proudly showed off their artwork, the togetherness of families creating side by side, and plenty of festive, sweet treats! 🎄

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support us… more photos to come! 💜

Our Art Exhibition is THIS WEEK!

Here is what to expect...

🖼 ARTWORK - Every child in the school has created a festive piece of artwork to showcase on 4th December 2025, and they cannot wait for you to see their masterpieces!

You will have the opportunity to purchase the original artwork, as well as any number of prints, which will be available to take home at a later date once printing is complete.

🎨 CREATIVE STATIONS - During the event, we will also be hosting small creative workshops (at a small cost) for both children and adults to enjoy together, with the chance to make something festive to take home. 🎨

🎄 FESTIVE REFRESHMENTS - Although this is not a ticketed event, we will be selling small festive refreshments for all to enjoy!

We look forward to welcoming you all between 5pm and 7pm for an evening of creativity, Christmas treats, and joyful music. To prevent crowds and get the most from the event, spread out your arrival time. Please be rest assured that you do not all need to be there for the start of the event.

This is not ticketed event.
