Massive Congratulations to the England 'Juniors team dn becoming European Champions in Malta last week.

Special mention for Joshua Fletcher (pictured centre) for showcasing his massive talent on the big stage.

Joshua clinched the final frame to get England the 8-5 win in the final against Malta. He achieved a 75% win rate throughout the week which is a phenomenal achievement.

When Joshua first came to me 6 years ago I remember his mum saying how great it would be if he played for England one day. 👌

Such a great experience for all the lads to test their skills against Europe's best players - and to come out on top as champions shows how talented and dedicated they all are! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆

It was always going to happen but yesterday was the day...

A happy young man achieved his goal of qualifying for the England Juniors Team. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Joshua's dedication to pool mastery over the past few years paid off and now it's time to showcase his skills in the England shirt.

He fully deserves his place and I couldn't be happier for him. As well as his progress on the baize, he's also a fantastic personality off the table.

This is just the beginning of a bright future in the game.

This bot appears consistent in it's potting but basic in its all round play.

AI will continue to move forward and make progress. Most humans will not.

PROUD COACH:

It's always important to appreciate your achievements both big and small.

It's easy to forget how far you've come and get caught up in day to day life.

I've had the pleasure of watching this young man grow over the past 4 years, both figuratively and literally:

From an extremely shy young boy who could only just see over the table top...

Into a very confident teenager that is today competing with 10 of the country's finest young talents for a spot in the U15's England Team.

The journey hasn't always been easy so far, he's made sacrifices to become the player he is today and he most certainly deserves today's opportunity because there's no doubt he's earned it.

Congratulations on getting this far and keep up the great work!

Just a quick post to wish all you pool players and your families a Wonderful, fun-filled Christmas.

Also a BIG Thankyou to all of you who have been working on your games throughout the year.
As always it's been an absolute pleasure seeing you take your games to the next level and sharing your victories with you.
You all make the work I put both inside and outside of session time, worthwhile.

This weekend I watched one of my old foes reach the final of the Ultimate Pool Series. He posted about his journey to the final saying that "it's the knowledge, hunger and the determination that can compensate for lack of practise."

Practice isn't optional so should never be downplayed. Talent may be natural but skills is developed through hours and hours of PRACTICE.

That said...

In a game, when there's little to choose between the players - the margins are fine.
HUNGER and DETERMINATION will play a part in the result.

*Are you Hungry enough to play with relentless focus?
*Are you Determined enough to complete your Pre-Shot Routine for every single shot, regardless of how easy it may be?

So next time you play, ask yourself this:
"Am I Hungry enough to get the WIN?

ONE STEP CLOSER!

Today's the day that Pool & Snooker Clubs across the country are finally allowed to OPEN their doors again.

With most pubs having little choice but to shove their tables up a corner to make more space, our local clubs are now more important than ever to the game we love.

If 50% of clubs up and down the country permanently closed tomorrow, if would mean such a negative impact on the game.

These clubs are often family run businesses and after a tough year, now, more than ever - they need our help.

So, many players have had no access to a table for months so there's plenty of lost time to make up for.
