This week’s asks an important question: Can we always believe what we see and hear online? 👀

With AI-generated content and deepfakes becoming increasingly realistic, this guide helps families support children in spotting what’s real and what might not be. 👇

AI-generated content, cloned voices, deepfake videos and fabricated screenshots are making it harder for young people to recognise what is genuine online.

Our latest guide supports parents, carers and educators in helping children build the confidence and critical thinking skills needed to question digital content.

The guide explores:
• How AI-generated content and deepfakes can appear convincing
• Why familiar voices, polished presentation and repeated claims should not automatically be trusted
• Risks linked to fake accounts, impersonation and misinformation
• The importance of source-checking and verifying messages through another route
• How adults can respond when harmful or deceptive content targets a child

With clear, practical advice, this resource helps adults strengthen digital literacy and support safer, more informed online experiences.

WOW! What an AMAZING effort.
Thank you so much KSPA PTFA for all your hard work this year!

Please remember, as a parent of a child at KSPA you automatically become a member of our PTFA. So please, offer your support to our committee when you can.

✨ Well, that's a wrap on the 2025/26 school year! ✨

Here's a little snapshot of everything we've achieved together this year. 💜

A 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts in any way. Whether you attended an event, donated, volunteered your time, or simply cheered us on, every contribution has made a real difference.

Our PTFA committee and school staff have worked incredibly hard to support our school and its children, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing community.

A special thank you to everyone who volunteered throughout the year. As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and we are so grateful for every helping hand.

We wish you all a wonderful, relaxing summer break and look forward to welcoming familiar and new faces next year for another fantastic year of supporting our school.

☀️ Have a brilliant summer!

Gaming is a huge part of many young people's lives, but some online features can blur the line between gaming and gambling in ways that aren't always obvious.

Our latest guide explains what skin betting is, why it's becoming more common, and how parents, carers and educators can help children stay safe online.

The guide covers:

• What skin betting is and how it works
• Why virtual in-game items can have real-world value
• The risks of unregulated third-party platforms
• Social pressure and influencer promotion
• Warning signs to look out for
• Practical steps to reduce the risks through conversations and parental controls

By understanding how skin betting works, trusted adults can spot potential risks early and help young people make safer choices online.
