Round 23 - Who is this for our final round?

"I loved this book so much when I was little. My mum used to read it to me and if she was busy putting my siblings to bed then I could listen to it on tape and follow the words. I can still remember some of the lines from the story even now."

I hope you have all had fun with our guessing game! Although this game is over, the year of reading is not so please stay tuned for more reading-related fun in September!

A great morning in the sun on Friday, smiling and having fun up at Lynnsport.

The Mini Tennis Festival being our final sporting event of the term.

It's been a successful year for the children who have embraced all the activities with enthusiasm, supporting each other and others in a very sporting way.

KINGS & QUEENS DAY in EYFS/KS1
The staff reported:

What a super busy day they had on Friday!

We started with a photo opportunity, then went on to write rules for our kingdom, some royal maths, drawing our own royal portrait and building our own castle along with making crowns.

We then made cucumber sandwiches to go with the jam tarts and jelly we made on Wednesday.

In the afternoon we had a royal horse riding challenge, and a royal walk challenge. Then we had a competition for the best royal wave, the best bow, and the best curtesy.

We then went back for a royal tea party.

On Thursday, the Year 6's were treated to a trip to the beach.

It was a complete SURPRISE!
They took the public bus to Hunstanton.
We enjoyed ice cream and sausage & chips from Mim's East Coast Gelato (Thankyou East Coast Gelato)

And of course, it wouldn't be a beach trip without time on the beach. It is safe to say they LOVED IT! Some paddled, some embraced the water completely!

Such a lovely day to celebrate our AMAZING Year 6's!
