King’s Lynn Community Choir is a mixed voice community choir based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

We believe that the joy of singing should be available to everyone, regardless of their experience, and that everyone has a voice, whether they have found it yet or not.

The choir welcomes people of all ages, and there are no auditions required. Although we use sheet music, most of our music is learned by ear, usually using audio-files, so there is no need to be able to read music. Our only membership requirements are a desire to sing and have fun whilst making music with others.

Our repertoire includes a wide range of music from many different styles from pop music, stage shows, film music, and classic choral music; we aim to have something for everyone.

We normally meet every Thursdays at 6.30pm so that we can start singing promptly at 6.45pm for an 8.45pm finish. We meet in the Main Hall which is through Reception at Springwood High School, Queensway, King's Lynn PE30 4AW

Membership fee is £60 per term, however, anyone considering membership is welcome to come along and try us out for two weeks before deciding if they wish to join us. We offer a 25% reduction in subscription fees for under 25’s which would make the cost £45 per term.

The Cape Town Youth Choir is presenting a live online concert this week Sat at 7pm (SA time). “Admission” is free. The concert is titled “Celebrate Gratitude!” Here is the link to the concert: https://vimeo.com/event/989223/342ec05a9d The stream goes live at 6:45pm but the concert only starts at 7pm (SA time). (6PM UK time)

Access to the concert will stay available on the platform for about another week or so.

Hello one and all! We are having a May concert at the Kings Lynn methodist Church Friday May 10th at 7pm. We have brought it forward this year to avoid the blistering heat we experienced last year in July!

Fantastic rehearsal last night everyone, enjoy the half term break and I'll see you all on the 28th! (Except that lucky person going skiing and the one on a cruise etc). I'll send the music out for the start of next term hopefully by the middle of next week!

Good afternoon! As per the email before Christmas, we're going to have our first rehearsal back on the 10th of January. (Basically as quite a number said they would be busy with new year things this week and I've got an exam on Saturday, Edward has kindly allowed me to push the restart back a week).

What a lovely Saturday! (any day not at work is lovely right?) if you're at a not of a loose end, or are after some unusual Christmas presents then head on over to Holbeach Church for their Christmas Fayre. We'll be providing par of the live entertainment between 1 and 3, with a local ukelele group before hand!
