🌱 From Tiny Beginnings to Big Adventures… Some friendships truly do begin at nursery.

❣️ These two wonderful friends started their Twinkle Tots journey in our baby room, taking their very first steps into nursery life together. From those early days of exploring, learning and growing side by side, they have shared countless smiles, laughter, adventures and unforgettable memories.

🌈 Our very first photo captures these two friends during their first Christmas photoshoot in front of the Twinkle Tots tree in our baby room. Fast forward to their final Christmas together, in our preschool classroom. 💛

❤️ Looking back at these precious memories is a beautiful reminder of just how much they have grown - not only in height, confidence and independence, but also the wonderful friendship they have nurtured throughout their years at Twinkle Tots Nursery.

💛 Watching friendships blossom is one of the greatest privileges of what we do. We hope these special memories stay with them as they begin their exciting new chapters at school!

✨ As we reflect on another wonderful year, we would like to thank all of our amazing children and families for allowing us to be part of your early years journey. We adore all of you!

🌱 Some of the most meaningful moments throughout the nursery year have come during our one-to-one interactions with the children. Taking time to sit together, build, create, solve problems, read stories or simply chat allows our wonderful practitioners to really understand each child’s interests, strengths and next steps in learning.

✨ These special moments help build trusting relationships and give children the confidence to explore, ask questions and try new things. Our dedicated team love celebrating every milestone, no matter how big or small, and it has been a privilege to watch each child grow into the unique, confident and capable individual they are today.

Finding Our Voices 💬

✨ Communication is at the heart of everything we do at Twinkle Tots Nursery. Throughout the year we have supported our children in developing their listening skills, following simple instructions, expressing their thoughts and building the confidence to communicate with both adults and their friends. During group activities we have plenty of helpers and it’s great to see these individuals confidence and voice grow over time.

✨ Whether chatting during mealtimes, singing favourite nursery rhymes, joining in with group discussions or sharing exciting discoveries during play, every conversation has helped strengthen language and social development. Watching quieter children find their voices and confident communicators inspire others has been one of our proudest achievements this year.

Little Problem Solvers 🧩

✨ There has certainly been no shortage of curious minds here at Twinkle Tots Nursery! Throughout the year, our children have embraced every opportunity to investigate, explore and solve problems. From completing puzzles and matching colours to building towers, sorting objects and following exciting treasure hunts, every challenge has encouraged our little learners to think, persevere and celebrate their achievements.

✨ Problem solving is such an important part of early years development, helping children develop confidence, resilience and critical thinking skills. It has been wonderful watching our children work together, share ideas and discover that there is often more than one way to reach a solution. Every success, big or small, has been celebrated with smiles, encouragement and plenty of praise.

Just a friendly reminder to all of our wonderful Twinkle Tots families that the nursery will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday.

We hope you enjoy the extra day with your little ones, making special memories, exploring, playing and spending quality time together. 💙

Building Strong Bodies Through Play 💪

🌱 From climbing, balancing and dancing to riding bikes, running races and obstacle courses, our children have been busy strengthening their gross motor skills whilst having endless fun. Every jump, stretch and climb has helped develop coordination, balance and confidence in their growing bodies.

✨ Gross motor development lays the foundations for so many future skills, including writing, self-care and everyday independence. It has been fantastic watching our children become stronger, more confident and eager to challenge themselves throughout the year, always with huge smiles and plenty of encouragement from our wonderful team.

Exploring Our Wonderful World & colours🍃

🌱 Every day has brought a new adventure as our children explored the exciting world around them. Whether searching for insects in the garden, investigating different textures, discovering seasonal changes or simply asking lots of curious questions, every exploration became an opportunity to learn something new.

🪵 Exploration encourages children to become confident learners who are eager to investigate, experiment and make sense of the world.

🌱 Watching their excitement as they discovered something for the very first time has been one of the greatest joys of this nursery year, and we can’t wait for many more adventures together.

Child-Led Adventures 🌈

🌱 Some of our favourite moments this year have come from the wonderful ideas our children have created themselves. Whether it was transforming the role play area into a café, building impressive towers together, creating imaginative small world stories or inventing exciting games outdoors, every self-initiated activity has been filled with creativity and laughter.

✨Child-led learning encourages confidence, communication and problem solving whilst allowing children to follow their own interests. It has been lovely to watch friendship groups come together, share ideas and inspire one another, reminding us that some of the best learning happens when children take the lead.

Little Writers in the Making ✏️

✨Throughout the year our children have been developing the important skills needed for writing in so many exciting ways. From mark making in paint and sand to practising pencil control, using crayons, chalks and pencils, every activity has strengthened little hands whilst encouraging creativity and self-expression.

🌱 Developing a secure pencil grip and hand strength plays such an important part in preparing children for their next educational journey. We are incredibly proud of the progress every child has made and love seeing their confidence grow every time they proudly share their wonderful creations with us.
