🎭 WE’RE BACK! 🎶✨

What a brilliant feeling it was to be back in sessions on Saturday!

There really is nothing quite like hearing Springwood High School filled with music, singing, laughter and the buzz of our young performers creating together. ❤️

We could feel the excitement and energy throughout the building — we even had some lovely feedback from a teacher who had popped in to get some work done in their office on a Saturday and ended up hearing Theatretrain in full swing! 😂🎶

Saturday was also extra special as we handed out our Performers Handbooks to all of our students in Group 2 upwards.

These are a gift from us to our students to support them on their performing journey. Alongside celebrating their experiences and achievements, the handbooks explore all those important skills that go beyond singing, dancing and acting — the skills that help our young people grow as performers and as people. 🌟

It was SO good to be back.

A new term, lots to look forward to and a whole building full of creativity again!

We know we’ve already shared the exciting news that we were delighted to win the Minis Magic Award at the Theatretrain Conference back in July… but it was even more special to finally present the award to the wonderful team who make our Minis sessions so magical! 💛

Our Minis sessions are a place where young creativity, confidence and fun can truly flourish, and we’re incredibly proud of the warm, exciting environment our team creates every Saturday. 🎭🎶💃

🌟 MORE STUDENT SUCCESS! 🌟

A HUGE congratulations to everyone who auditioned for this year’s Alive King’s Lynn Corn Exchange Pantomime! 🎭✨

We hear the standard at this year’s auditions was incredibly high, so simply getting up there and auditioning is something to be really proud of! 👏

We are absolutely thrilled to share that FOUR of our amazing Theatretrain students have been cast in this year’s pantomime! 🤩🎉
Even better, our students are spread across both Youth Cast teams, which means whichever performance you book to see, you’ll get to spot some of TT King’s Lynn’s very own talent up on that stage! ❤️

We are incredibly proud of you all and can’t wait to cheer you on from the audience! 🎭⭐

🎬✨ FROM THEATRETRAIN TO THE BIG SCREEN! ✨🎬

We have some VERY exciting news to share about one of our wonderful Theatretrain performers… Eleanor! 💙⭐

Eleanor has had the amazing opportunity to be part of the new feature film Onwards and Sideways — and you can actually spot her in the brand-new official trailer! shining brightly as always😍🎥

The film stars Rhys Ifans and Laura Linney and was filmed right here in Norfolk, making this one extra special for us! 🎬💫

_ Onwards and Sideways_ is a funny, moving and uplifting story about two strangers whose lives unexpectedly come together following a diagnosis of Parkinson’s, exploring friendship, courage, music, movement and finding joy in difficult circumstances. 💙
The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before coming to UK cinemas from 6 November, followed by BBC One and BBC iPlayer later in the year. ✨
How incredibly exciting to see one of our Theatretrain performers appearing in a feature film like this! We are SO proud of you, Eleanor and hope you enjoyed every moment of this amazing experience. 🌟

Officially back to work for me today after a lovely family holiday! ☀️

I’ve spent the day working through emails and enquiries and think I’m finally all caught up! 🙌

Please do get in touch if I’ve missed anyone — it definitely wasn’t intentional!

Now to tackle what can only be described as Widow Twankey’s washroom scene… AKA unpacking and washing for a family of four! 🧺😂
Anyone else actually quite pleased to be getting back into a routine… or are you firmly in the “bring back the summer holidays” camp?! 😂

Did you know that being part of Theatretrain Kings Lynn is about so much more than our weekly sessions? 🎭

📸 After our productions, every performer gets access to our amazing professional show photographs, taken by the incredibly talented Ian Burt – completely FREE as a gift from us to our families and a thank you for choosing Theatretrain Kings Lynn. ❤️

And it doesn't stop there…
Throughout the year, we bring in guest creatives with professional West End experience to work with our students at no extra cost.
We also love giving our performers opportunities to experience specialist areas of the industry through workshops such as TV acting, stage combat and more, alongside fun community events and experiences that bring our whole Theatretrain family together.
And next up… 🍿🎬
We can't wait to welcome our Addams Family cast back together in October for our special cast screening! A chance to get together, watch their incredible production and celebrate everything they achieved on that stage. 🖤
We want our students to have experiences, opportunities and memories that go far beyond the weekly class.

🌟 CELEBRATING OUR LITTLE PERFORMERS! 🌟

Just look at those proud faces! 💛

At the end of each term, our Theatretrain Minis receive their very own certificate celebrating the skills they’ve been working on in acting, singing and dancing, along with individual feedback recognising their own personal progress and achievements. 🎭🎶💃
Because at this age, every little step is worth celebrating.
Finding the confidence to share an idea.
Learning a new dance.
Using a big voice.
Joining in with a song.
Trying something new.
Standing up in front of others.
It all matters. ✨
Our Saturday morning Minis sessions at Springwood High School, King’s Lynn are full of imagination, creativity, friendship and FUN – creating a safe and encouraging place for young performers aged 5–6 to begin building skills and confidence that reach far beyond the stage.
