Miniature Donkeys for Therapy and Fun Providing visits to Schools, Care Homes, Weddings, Parties, Christmas events and more. We’re based in Norfolk and cover surrounding areas for hire purposes.

I’m Karen and have been running Donkeys for Therapy and Fun for over 12 years. We have a few special miniature Donkeys and Ponies that have been trained for the use of therapy animals for care homes, nursing homes and SEN schools. Along with our therapy animals we offer event hire for weddings, parties, fetes and any special occasions. Please note no animals can be ridden.

He was our lulu's partner they came to us as a pair
He was a lovely donkey that had to have a hard head scratch every time he saw you
Sadly as he was a stallion donkey and lulu was not in a good way we couldnt let him breed with her anymore for her health reasons
Anyhow the lovely chap is now in the Heritage centre in scotland
I went up last year to visit him
Well in july 24.000 visitors came through the centre to meet him.

Yesterday the donkeys had amazing day with so many visitors to them .Very busy so many turned out in the bad weather to see them
We were meeting people that just loved the donkeys All day until the last person came at 4.30
Rodney was wearing his norwich city socks that the city team donated to all the donkeys
We had Barbara and Beryle . The amazing Chocky our carehomes and hospice donkey
Last week chocky and his partner were at a wedding at masingham Barns .He really gets everywhere .
We have had lovely messages today saying how much people loved seeing them
That is so lovely to hear and how well they all look
We devote our lives to these donkeys for past 16 years
We now at the age that we now feel that the charity is the correct way and our trustees will carry on our work for years to come when we will wont be around as donkeys live to 40 and our youngest is 3yrs old our little beryle
We hope you all had a lovely time with them yesterday

The Donkeys yesterday were at Norfolk Lavender
It was an amazing turn out of so many people to come see our lovely donkeys
Even the rain didn't keep people away .
From the minute we arrived until 4.30 there still were people to see them
We have had lovely messages how much they were enjoyed
This makes everything so worth while
Our donkeys have great love and care and our lives devoted to them
However the happy faces of so many people is so wonderful to see
Thankyou everyone that came along we very much appreciate it
