Well done learners!!

Youth Social Action – Litter Picking around

Our students helped the local council clear up the town ready for the Jubilee fun in Kings Lynn. Our students worked hard and collected 5 full bin bags, it was great to see how proud they were when the town was clear of all rubbish and ready for the celebrations to start.

Youth social action refers to activities that young people do to make a positive difference to others or the environment led by young people. Youth social action has many benefits for those who participate including but not limited to confidence-building and positive mental health. It can also support expectations and clarity regarding future career pathways.

At Nova there are a wide variety of options for young people aged 16 to 18 regardless of exam results. Join our new 16 to 18 Pre - Apprenticeship programme and you will have an individual learning plan, matched to your future aspirations which allows you to learn, earn, gain qualifications and progress to employment in your chosen career.

Massive well done 👏 to the Nova students for achieving the Scotty's Little Soldiers fundraising cycling challenge. 102 miles, over 5 hours 33 minutes with an average of 18.5mph.

There will be games, refreshments, cakes and a charity cycle for Scotty's Little Soliders.
