If you haven't already, make sure you apply this weekend.

📅 If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, you have until 15th January to apply for their reception-aged place at a primary or infant school.

✳️ Remember, if you want your child to start later, you still need to apply for a reception class place at the same time as everyone else. You can then talk to the school about your options for a delayed or part time start.

✳️ You must apply for a reception class place even if your child currently goes to a nursery class at a school. Going to a nursery attached to a school does not increase your chances of getting a reception class place at that school.

✳️ Your child must be in full-time education by the time they reach compulsory school age (the term after they turn 5).

We make our own Playdough in nursery, why not try yourselves at home.
We would love to see your little ones Playdough creations.

Did you know just how easy it is to make your own Playdough at home?!

✨⬇ HERE'S THE RECIPE ⬇✨

◉ 2 cups all-purpose flour
◉ 3/4 cup salt
◉ 4 teaspoons cream of tartar
◉ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
◉ A few drops of food colouring or children's paint (optional)

We suggest using a mug to measure the cup ingredients with - the handle makes it easier to hold and pour with for little ones.

Mix all of the ingredients together until they form a dough which is soft, but not too sticky!

And then.. it's playdough play time! 🥳🥳

This playdough will last for over a week without drying out if it's stored in an air-tight container whilst not being played with. 💚

If your child was born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019, they are due to start school in reception class in the school year starting September 2023 and are entitled to a full-time place.
If you have not made your application yet, do not forget the round closes on Sunday 15 January 2023
