Hi there, and welcome to the official page for the Kilwinning Campus’ NC Photography Exhibition. We will be holding our exhibition on Wednesday the 25th of May where we will be showing off some of our photos from this academic year, as well as our main photos from the project we've chosen; and the theme we've chosen for said project, is Ukraine.
We chose this theme because as well as getting photos for a project, we wanted to try and raise money with our exhibition for a cause we all care about, and with the state of the world right now (and especially 2 months ago when we chose our theme) the injustice in Ukraine felt like the perfect fit.
So, to start off with raising money we've decided to have a sort of open day at our Studio at the Kilwinning Campus where for a small fee of £5 you can get a half-hour slot with one of our students to get any portraits you’d like. If you have any ideas of what you’d like (within reason of the 30minute slot) then don’t hesitate to ask when enquiring about booking a slot.
We’ll also be doing more to raise funds on the day of the exhibition, but we’ll release more info about that as we get a bit closer to the date. And of course, we wouldn’t expect any funds to be donated without knowing exactly which charity we’ll be donating to at the end of the exhibition so the Charity we’ll be donating to will be UNICEF. We are still currently trying to set up an online donation post but we will keep everyone updated as soon as it's up and running
