We are looking forward to welcoming our returning children back to the ECC tomorrow 🥳

Please remember to send in a waterproof suit, wellies and suncream that can be left at the ECC, as soon a possible. We are hoping to have our own outdoor suits soon, until such times we ask that you provide one for your child. Please put at least one full change of clothes in your child's bag, don't forget to put your child's name on everything!! Their nursery bag can be left on their peg or can be brought into the ECC and taken home each day. Please do not have any drinks/food, creams, medications, lip balms etc. in their bag as this is a health & safety issue. Thank you for your understanding with this. If your child previously had medication in the ECC you will need to bring this with you and complete the appropriate paperwork.

Welcome back to school and we hope that you all had a lovely summer holiday.

We are very excited to welcome everyone back to school tomorrow and we can't wait to see everyone! We welcome all of our new families and we wish all of our P7 from last year good luck as they start secondary.

P1:

P1 have a staggered start Wednesday only.​ P1 children will enter through the glass doors.​ Your child will start at 9.10am or 9.25am or 9.40am (this has been previously emailed).This enables parents/carers to come into school and take some photographs.​ P1 children will be dismissed at 2.50pm throughout the first week.​ From Monday 25th August P1 children will be in full days 9.00am - 3.00pm.

P2-P7:

Children will enter the playground as normal and line up with their new class. There will be signs to help with lining up.

**The playground is supervised from 8.45am. Pupils should not arrive before this time.**

Nut Free School:

A reminder that we are a nut free school. Please ensure that children do not bring in any items that have nuts in them.

Car Park:

The car park is for school staff and visiting staff. Only parents and carers with a blue badge are eligible to park in the car park. Please use the surrounding street parking if you are dropping off and collecting your child.

New Menus:

New menus are now available. These have been posted on the app and meals should be ordered using Parent Pay in advance

Medications:

If your child requires any medication, please contact the school office to complete the necessary paperwork.

Important Safety Information for Parent and Carers:

The school playground must be kept secure when pupils are in it. The gates to access the playground will remain closed until 2.50pm. This is to allow school and ECC pupils access to the playground without parents and carers opening gates to walk through. From 2.50pm parents and carers can access the playground to collect pupils if required.

The “Hills” area should not be used before 8.45am for school or ECC pupils, or after school by pupils from the school or the ECC, this is to keep everyone safe. ECC pupils should not be in the "Hills" area after the ECC is finished.

Diary Dates/PE days:

Dates will be issued in due course once finalised.
