Hillhead hug returns on the following dates seen on the poster…

Go along to Hillhead Primary School and join in with community events to help all families who are in the local area.

Hillhead can’t wait to see you all!
Hi, is the school back tomorrow?
Hello
A massive thank you to Hillhead Primary School students and staff who brought festive cheer to our Station Market today.

The music was fantastic and it was a pleasure to host the lunch time picnic. Thank you to all students, staff and parents who facilitated and attended to allow the children to perform.

Councillor Maureen McKay is Councillor for Hillhead's ward so it was wonderful to have a visit to support the school and the Station Community.

We appreciate what a busy time of year this is for everyone and can't thank you all enough for the hard work and support that went into making today a success.

Take a moment to have a listen to songs recorded at Hillhead Primary School.

This was the first opportunity these pupils had to engage in a creative project since before Lockdown. They poured so much enthusiasm into the whole process and it was important to me that this was able to happen.

There were delays due to not being able to access schools and even then logistical challenges in terms of how this would normally be run.

Let's not forget how big an effect Covid has had on the lives of young people and the massive benefits that come from engaging through the arts, sport and outdoor activities. Creative Minds Team, East Ayrshire Creative Scotland burnsong
Great to see Hillhead Primary School pupils learning that thanks to our innovative programme with Show Racism the Red Card Europe! 🌈πŸŸ₯πŸ’™ Great work everyone! πŸ‘πŸ‘

🌿 We have just published a new blog post! It's about our new partnership with Hillhead Primary School , based in the West End of Glasgow.

The last 18 months have brought unexpected challenges to so many families across the country. Recognising this impact close to home, the school community at Hillhead have come together to support one another. They established a 'Resilience Fund' on the GoFundMe platform, and have so far raised almost Β£1500. Amazing! πŸ‘πŸŒŸ

We spent some time chatting with Rhian Williams, Hillhead's Chair of the Parent Council, who has also volunteered with AXC for some time. πŸ™Œ Thanks to Rhian's idea of bringing us together, the Resilience Fund can now be used to provide preloved clothing and footwear for young people, as and when it's needed, in a discreet and respectful way.

Perfect for some uplifting Sunday reading. Find it here πŸ‘‰https://bit.ly/36auzf1. Enjoy! πŸ’šβ™»οΈ
