If your child has any medication stored within the centre please speak to Leigh on their last day of attendance. All medication must be sent home and signed out of the centre before the holidays.

If your child is returning in August we will complete the necessary paperwork when we return and this medication can be stored on the premises again then.

A child from the Jungle Playroom has lost a jumper like the one in this picture below.

Could we ask that everyone checks to see if their child has come home with this jumper by accident and if so could you return it to the centre please.

Thank you.

With very warm weather expected over the coming days, it’s important to take steps to stay safe and well.

If you are coming to one of our vaccination clinics please make sure to bring water with you.

Follow the advice below to stay hydrated, keep cool, protect yourself from the sun, and reduce the risk of heat-related illness. Extra care should be taken for babies, young children, and older adults.

Tomorrow, Thursday, is set to reach 30c. We will continue to ensure children have plenty of drink breaks, access to cool spaces and shade. We will limit time outdoors, particularly as the day gets warmer and the sun and UV levels increase.

Please bring a water bottle for your child if they don't already have one in the Centre and we will ensure water stations are regularly replenished.

Loose-fitting clothing can also help children feel cooler in this very warm weather. Suncream will be regularly topped up. Please apply in the morning.

Let's enjoy the weather safely!

The sunshine is set to continue this week, with very high UV levels and temperatures. Loose clothing, sun hats, sunglasses and suncream help protect children from the warm weather. Please apply suncream in the morning and we will reapply throughout the day.
We will also make sure children's water bottles are regularly topped up to keep them hydrated.

We will shortly be publishing information on our returning children's learning journals in regard to keyworker groups and playrooms from August. This is specific to the Waterfall and Safari playrooms. There may be changes to keyworkers/playroom sides for some of the groups, and we will speak with those parents/carers directly.

🌟It’s nearly the summer holidays and this can mean changes to daily routines. A visual calendar can be a way to support children with these changes. 🌟

The ECC will close for summer holidays on Friday and children do not return until Wednesday 19th August.

On Friday, our sessions run as normal and all children should be collected by 3pm. If you do wish to collect your child at 1pm due to siblings finishing school at 1pm, you are welcome to do so however there is no expectation for parents/carers to collect early.
