When and where to apply · East Ayrshire Council During February we promote registration for funded early learning and childcare places for three and four year olds. We use the following channels:

The Statutory Consultation on Early Learning and Childcare in East Ayrshire Council is now open

Education authorities have a statutory duty under the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 to consult with a representative group of parents and carers with children under school age in their area about how they should make early learning and childcare available.

We have created two surveys for parents, carers and prospective parents and carers residing in East Ayrshire in order to hear their views on early learning and childcare in our authority. The surveys will be open for 3 weeks from the 31st May.

The views of parents and carers are important to us and will be used to inform the future delivery of early learning and childcare in East Ayrshire Council so please take 5 minutes to complete this survey if you are a parent or carer of a child or children currently accessing funded early learning and childcare:

HELP NEEDED
One of the children in the ECC has gone home with a jacket exactly like the one in the photo but in the wrong size. The one we have in the ECC is 6-7 years and we really need the 3-4 years one back as the wee person who's jacket is missing needs it back. Someone has accidentally got the wrong jacket so could you please ll check jackets at hom and hand in the correct jacket and we will give you yours back. With the Christmas rush we are presuming no one has noticed but would like to get this sorted as soon as possible.
