So, after over 3 decades The Avenue said goodbye for the final time to our children on Wednesday 30th April.
There's so much I could write here about my time at The Avenue but I'll try not to waffle on too long!
I've had the pleasure of being taught and led by some of the most knowledgeable, caring, hilarious people I've ever met and I have got to spend my working days with the most amazing little people, watching many of them grow from tiny babies right up to big Primary Ones!
Thank you to ALL of our children and families throughout the years, you're the ones that made a job that can be stressful absolutely, completely worth it.
So goodbye to all the dancers, the storytellers, the builders, the artists, the singers, the teachers, the gymnasts, the climbers, the comedians, the explorers and all of my morning office-helpers! Go and show your new nurseries and new friends how amazing you all are and hopefully I'll see you around some time.
