Baby Sensory provides hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. The classes include fibre optic light shows, bubbles, bells, musical fun, baby signing, puppet shows, amazing light balls and so much more. Every activity has been carefully planned to support your baby’s development and learning, with opportunities for creative play, massage, tummy time, movement, visual development, textures, scents and music.

From original songs and traditional rhymes supporting early speech and language, to sensory signing that helps babies and parents communicate from birth - every session has a purpose.

✨ READY FOR ANOTHER WEEK AT BABY SENSORY? ✨

This week is packed with movement, music, exploration and a little bit of Baby Sensory magic!

Movement is so important for your baby’s development, helping them build strength, coordination, balance and body awareness.

I will be sharing some super-simple ideas that you can recreate at home using everyday things, giving your baby even more opportunities to play, explore and learn.

We will practice clapping and patting, brilliant for encouraging rhythm, coordination and interaction,

AND THEN… A PUPPET SHOW!
Because who doesn’t love a Baby Sensory puppet?! Something to captivate the grown-ups… and fun for the babies too 😉

Every week is carefully designed to support your baby’s development while giving you the chance to slow down, connect and enjoy this precious stage together.

It’s been a busy one, but I have had the BEST time with you all on our little trip to Paris! 🥰🇫🇷

We’ve been busy little tourists exploring everything the city has to offer…

🎶 We’ve learned some très magnifique French nursery rhymes
⛪️ Visited the beautiful Notre-Dame
🥐 Explored all the yummy-smelling croissants
💃 Watched the fabulous Can-Can

I’m very sorry we didn’t make it to the Champagne region for a little wine tasting…

🥂✨ IT’S MY BUSINESS BIRTHDAY ✨🥂

4 years ago, I stepped into the world of self-employment as the solo owner of Baby Sensory Irvine.

I had every faith in the brand… but very limited faith in myself.

And honestly? 4 years later, there are still days (and sometimes weeks 🙈) when I question my ability to run a business. When I think “I’m not grown up enough for this kind of thing!”

But somehow… here we are. 4 years in.

What started as a crazy dream has become something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve learned, grown, made mistakes, picked myself back up, celebrated some huge wins and probably stressed more than I ever thought possible!

And I genuinely couldn’t have done it without YOU.

Thank you to every family who has booked a class, recommended me to a friend, shared a post, left a lovely review, joined my waitlist, cheered me on or simply supported my little business from the sidelines.

Thank you for supporting me, my family and this crazy dream I had of running my own business.

When you book a Baby Sensory® class, you’re joining an award-winning programme created by Dr Lin Day, specifically designed around babies’ development and those all-important early years.

Every session has a purpose — from bubbles, lights and music to signing, movement, textures and sensory play. Activities are carefully designed to support communication, physical development, cognitive skills and those precious early social connections.

And because Baby Sensory® is a registered trademark, not every class using the words “Baby Sensory” is necessarily an official Baby Sensory class.

Here at Baby Sensory Irvine, we follow the official Baby Sensory programme, giving you and your baby a fun, structured and developmentally focused experience every week.

NOTHING!!!

Things I would NEVER expect your baby to do at Baby Sensory

I don’t expect your baby to sit still.
I don’t expect them not to cry.
I don’t expect them to participate in every activity.
I don’t expect them to love every activity.

When babies move around during class, it can be a sign that they feel confident and comfortable enough to explore.

Babies cry because they are communicating.

Babies learn through watching and observing.

Babies learn at their own pace.

And children learn best when they feel safe, connected and free to explore.

And honestly… I don’t expect the grown-ups to have it all together either — I definitely don’t! 😂

Feed your baby.
Cuddle them.
Walk around with them.
Take a break.
Arrive late.
Leave early.
Or simply sit back and take it all in.

There is no “perfect” way to do Baby Sensory.

Your baby doesn’t need to perform.
You don’t need to get it right.

Just being there, together, is enough.

Come exactly as you are. You’re always welcome here. 🥰
