ADULT BJJ BEGINNERS COURSE: BY POPULAR DEMAND

In between our full beginners courses, we’ve decided to run a 4 week introductory course for adults looking to get started in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as soon as possible.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling focused martial art where you learn how to defend yourself and control an opponent. Suitable for all ages and abilities, it’s a great way to learn realistic self defence, get fit, build confidence and meet new people.

START DATE: Tuesday 6th October 2026
COST: £30 for 4 weeks

CLASS TIMES:
Tuesday: 6:30 to 7:30 PM
Thursday: 7:00 to 8:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 to 10:00 AM

Attend 1, 2 or all 3 sessions per week, whatever suits your schedule.

No previous experience necessary.

Taught by David Sharp, black belt under Marcos Nardini and advanced no gi coach at MNBJJ, with experience coaching everyone from complete beginners to ADCC Trials champions and UFC fighters.

Alfie Kirkwood picking up 🥈 in the no-gi division, losing narrowly to the current IBJJF European Champion in the final, and picking up 🥈 in the gi and 🥇 in no-gi. Here is our current timetable.

We are a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym based in Kilmarnock, welcoming all levels from complete beginners to experienced competitors. All of our classes are suitable for beginners and provide a great way to improve physical fitness, build confidence, and enjoy a positive social environment while learning a practical martial art.

We also run a kids class every Thursday at 5:00PM for ages 5 and up, focused on building confidence, discipline, and having fun while learning the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

If you are interested in trying a class or want to book your child in, please send us a message and we will get you booked in.
