We have had a couple of cancellations for our free First Aid Workshop being held THIS Sunday, 1st March.

The feedback from the first session earlier this month was really positive so if you can join us please book in.

Our free First Aid Workshop held at the start of the month was really well received by the local community, giving parents, grandparents and carers a hands on experience with caring for the little ones in their lives.

We are holding another session on Sunday 1st March at 10am but places are limited and there are just a few spaces left so don't miss out so Book Now to avoid disappointment.

👶 Baby & Child First Aid Workshop 🩹
Duchal Nursery School are delighted to be running 2 free Baby and Child First Aid Workshops early next year.
These are open to all local parents, grandparents, babysitters and caregivers!

The workshops will be run by First Stop Safety Training and are designed to give you the confidence and skills to handle first-aid emergencies involving babies and young children.

You’ll learn how to recognise common emergencies, how to act quickly, and how to help prevent accidents before they happen. Leave feeling informed, empowered and ready for anything. 💛

Local Volunteering Opportunity - Nursery seeking new Directors to join the Board.

Our Directors provide strategic oversight and decision making to guide the activities and management of the nursery, including the management of the nursery's financial performance.

We are seeking people with a range of skills and backgrounds, however, we are particularly keen to hear from someone with financial experience to provide essential financial oversight and guidance.

The Directors collaborate with the Head Teacher, Administrator, and Parents to help Duchal continue to provide the “best start in life” for local children.

The time commitment is approximately 5 hours per month and is a great opportunity to volunteer in your local community.

We are delighted to welcome Mrs Laura Flynn to our wonderful teaching team at Duchal.

Laura achieved her HNC in Childhood Practice in 2022, and has gained valuable experience in local nurseries, schools and after school care roles. Having worked with us in a supply capacity for 6 months we know she will be a fantastic addition to Duchal and the children love all she brings to the nursery.

Our team of teaching staff are our biggest asset, they each possess a wealth and breadth of knowledge and have had amazing life experiences. What they all share is a genuine heartfelt love for the Duchal children.
