Today our little chefs had a wonderful time baking delicious oat & raisin biscuits! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
There were plenty of giggles, careful measuring and lots of mixing! 🥣💛

Cooking activities help children build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun with friends 😊

Little quacks, Big Curiosity! 🐣🦆

Our nursery was full of excitement as we welcomed duck eggs and watched them hatch right before our eyes. The children and families absolutely loved meeting the fluffy ducklings and seeing them grow! This wonderful experience supported so much learning – from understanding life cycles and caring for living things, to encouraging curiosity, observation, and lots of questions. It was a beautiful way for the children to connect with nature and learn together!💛

🎄 It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas at The Nursery! 🎄

Our little ones have been spreading Christmas cheer with a special trip to the garden centre, where they chose beautiful decorations to make our nursery sparkle! And of course, we couldn’t resist feeding the fish along the way.

Our children have loved exploring the changing season with crisp autumn walks—crunching through leaves, feeding the ducks, spotting conkers, and talking about all the colours around them. 🌰🍁
We also enjoyed a special visit to the library, where little imaginations were sparked by stories, pictures, and cosy corners perfect for reading. 📖✨

What a wonderful first week!
We’ve absolutely loved welcoming our new families and watching the children settle in so beautifully. Their smiles, curiosity, and confidence have made us so proud already.
