Killin Primary School

Killin Primary School Killin Primary school is situated in beautiful scenery in the northern part of the Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

It was built in 1960 to replace the original school. We have 49 children at present coming from three communities.

Weโ€™d like to say a huge THANKYOU to the local businesses and individuals who supported the Killin 2K recently. Over 160 children took part from 12 local primary schools, and even the sun made an appearance too!

As Certas Energy and Scottish Water continue to lead the clean-up following the diesel spill in Killin, we can confirm that Killin Primary and Nursery School will be open as normal tomorrow (23 Feb), with bottled water supplied to the school and nursery.

If there are any issues, the school and nursery will contact families directly.

Killin Library is also expected to open tomorrow, though the public toilets in Killin will remain closed.

Scottish Water has taken precautionary measures to safeguard the public drinking water supply for impacted residents and continues to monitor the situation. Private water supplies with spring, borehole, or burn sources should not be at risk. However, if your private supply is abstracted from the River Dochart or Loch Tay, or if you notice any difference in the appearance, taste or odour of your water, please contact Stirling Council Environmental Health by emailing: [email protected]

๐Ÿ† We are delighted to have been Highly Commended by Bikeability Scotland for our commitment to cycle training and promoting opportunities, along with our role as a Bikeability Hub for local schools.
