🌟 Introducing Our School Council 🌟
Pupil voice is important to us and our pupils in Gwenllian because it ensures that our pupils feel heard, valued, and empowered, helping our school to make meaningful decisions that truly reflect pupils’ needs and experiences.
We’re proud to introduce our fantastic School Council members, a small but powerful group of pupils who represent pupil voice across our school.
Our School Council meets once a term with Lynsey giving pupils a dedicated space to:
- Share any ideas or concerns
- Talk about what’s working well
- Help us think about ways to improve their school experience
- Feel listened to, valued, and involved in decisions that affect them
Their role is incredibly important. By hearing directly from our pupils, we can make sure the school continues to be a place where everyone feels safe, happy, and supported.
We met today (selfie included! 📸), and we’re delighted to say that all pupils shared that they are happy with how things are going in school, which is always lovely to hear. Their positive feedback means so much and helps us know we’re on the right track.
Thank you to our School Council members for your honesty, confidence, and brilliant contributions – your voices really do matter 💬
