Monks Treasure

Monks Treasure Archeological site of interest for education, tourism and community projects. Monks Treasure, site was initially purchased in 2006.

The present owner learned that the land holds an important early medieval, 12 th century, chapel footings and an associated healing/holy well. Not wanting to damage this sensitive site, it was realised that, to protect this site from insensitive development, a professional understanding was required. It was then decided the way to achieve this was for the owner to embark upon an Environmental Arc

haeology Degree, which was complete in 2012 . During this study, a dissertation of this site was produced, undertaking geophysical surveying, amongst other techniques, to assess the extent of archeology on site. The owner then considered ways to make this site pay its way, all the time aware of the need to protect the site but also to enable others to benefit from such a beautiful unspoilt historically rare and heritage rich site. To achieve these aims and objectives the 'Monks Treasure' was born. It is proposed that the site sets up a social enterprise project to enable people from all areas of communities, both local and further afield, to benefit, enjoy and learn from this unique learning environment. This site would be more than suitable for including minority, vulnerable and low represented groups of society, especially disabled members of society both mentally and physically. There will be an outdoor classroom and workshops which would enable individuals or groups to visit the site and benefit from the teaching of new, exciting life skills to enable a feeling of self worth and inclusion in many areas of society. Types of groups the site will attract:
Educational establishments from primary schools to universities

A lovely review from Simonne after the firewalk gathering.

Wednesday the 27th of October 1993.

had a dream about fire-walking. A Man who
did not know, picked me up from the ground
and put me on his horse. He held my head very
tightly, and made me walk through fire with
him
He said "Your name is "She who walks through
fire" he let me go, and rode off. And, I woke up.
That dream has stayed with me for all of these
years, as some dreams do.
I
I
I had the opportunity to make this dream a reality with
an invitation from Stephen Morgan from Firewalk Cymru to attend a
Summer Solstice event (including a firewalk !)
at Treasure . (Minus the horse !) I found
Stephen to be a very knowledgeable facilitator.
I felt very safe being guided through the
process. I selected a mantra, and before long the firewalk was underway. There were other events before, a cacao ceremony, guided breathing and meditation, I walked around and did some ghost-hunting and chatted with other people, including Jules the Crone l - a splendid woman who helped me immensely, much love to you, Jules 🖤 it was a truly wonderful and transformative experience.
Monks treasure is a stunning and unforgettable place, so tranquil, and so beautiful, I did enjoy my time there !
Back then in 1993 I was undergoing a therapeutic process using a specialized form of therapy called GIM or Guided imagery through music. I brought the dream I had back then into this time, and this physical realm - and I earned my name for real. It isn't a novelty or gimmick, and isn't to be taken lightly. It is a useful tool to assist you in the transformation process. I spent a long time preparing for it. I am still adjusting to my new energetical blueprint. I will continue to do so.
If you abuse the sacred fire it will burn you.

Our souls were tempered in the same fire

I wonder who feeds this.
You know who you are.

Some people just don't care about anything but their selves. So disheartening.

Just been down the lower capel teilo woods and am disgusted at the fly tip, loads of sawdust and dog poo. We counted 10 bags . They've been tipped of the capel teilo Rd into the gorge. If anyone has any CCTV in the area please get in touch.
It's such a terrible shame as this is where I walk with the nature groups.
I've been through some of the bags but it's just kennel waste no paperwork for identification.

It's all happening.

Step into the light and embrace the light of the shore:
Summer solstice firewalk, Cacao ceremony, guided meditation and forest bathing.
As the sun reaches its zenith on Sunday the 21st of June, join us in a secluded woodland by the Capel Teilo holy well for a transformative firewalk experience. This ancient ritual, practised for centuries, symbolises personal empowerment and spiritual awakening.
In Celtic Mythology, sacred springs were revered as sources of life-giving energy, embodying the divine feminine aspect of the Earth Goddess. These waters were believed to originate in the Otherworld, flowing into our realm to offer healing and renewal.
In Druidry, the summer solstice is known as Alban Hefin, meaning "The light of the shore." It's a time when the veil between worlds is thinnest, offering a unique opportunity for spiritual connection and insight.
What to expect:
A guided firewalk ceremony led by experienced facilitators.
Cacao ceremony, breath-work and Meditative practises by the sacred spring to connect with ancient energies.
Opportunities for personal reflection and setting intentions.
This event is designed to help you connect with your higher self, connect with nature and overcome personal fears and to step forward with confidence into the next chapter of your life.
Location : The woodlands of Monks Treasure, site of the spring near Kidwelly.
Time: Evening ceremony begins at 6pm
Registration: Limited spots available.
Reserve your place now to be a part of this unique experience.
Embrace the power of the sun, the sacred waters and the transformative fire. Let this Solstice be the turning point you've been seeking.
