I am so sorry to announce that The Children's House Montessori Nursery will close it's door in December and not reopen in January. We have been established in Kidlington since 1996 and will be sorry to say good-bye to such a happy community. We have had so many hundreds of children and their families through our doors and it as been a pleasure and a privilege.

We initially toured The Children’s House because the Montessori philosophy matches our own educational ideologies. We knew it was the nursery for our daughter when we saw how much the owner, Henrietta, cares about the children and their learning. You can clearly see how much thought has been put into the nursery environment, and how well the staff interact with the children.

Our daughter, Maddie, has quite noticeably learned so much in the few short months she has been there. I am particularly impressed with how much she has developed her life skills, maths, and letter recognition. She has been very happy at TCH, she loved her teachers, and talks about her friends all the time.

We are sorry that we are moving and won’t be able to keep our daughter at TCH. In my opinion, I believe that the Montessori method provides an unmatchable foundational understanding of core concepts, upon which our children build all future understanding upon.

We had such fun putting flower bunch surprises out for kidlington residents to find. And at the same time teaching the children the joy of giving.

Calling Kidlington Residents! We at the Nursery will be hoping to bring a smile to peoples faces in the coming weeks. The children will be leaving bunches of flowers around the community in the hope of bringing a smile to faces in these tough times. We hope you enjoy them!
