There’s a lot more happening at TinyTalk than learning a few signs.

While it might look like we’re singing songs, making signs, moving around and playing, your little one is actually learning all the time.

They’re developing communication and language, practising those all-important fine and gross motor skills, building confidence, learning how to interact with others, exploring rhythm and repetition, discovering new concepts and making sense of the world around them.

And the best bit? To them, it just feels like play.
There’s no pressure for your baby to perform, sit still, copy every sign or even sign back yet. They can watch, explore, move, join in when they want to and learn at their own pace.

Because TinyTalk isn’t about rushing children onto the next milestone.

It’s about giving them lots of lovely opportunities to communicate, connect, explore and learn — all while having you right there beside them.

And while they’re busy learning, you get something too: time to connect with your little one and a warm, judgement-free space to meet other parents.

Thought you’d missed your chance to join us this term? You haven’t.

There’s no “perfect” week to start TinyTalk, and you absolutely don’t need to have been there from the beginning.

Our classes are designed with lots of repetition and regular recap weeks, so you and your little one can settle in, pick up the signs and learn at your own pace.

And you’re not walking into a room where everyone else knows exactly what they’re doing. New families join us throughout the term, babies develop at completely different rates, and nobody is expected to arrive knowing a single sign.

You’ll learn useful BSL signs to bring into everyday life, sing, play and enjoy sensory activities together… and then there’s time for a hot drink, a biscuit and a chat with other parents too.

Because TinyTalk isn’t just about teaching your baby to sign.

It’s about understanding each other before words, building connection and confidence, and having a warm, judgement-free place where both you and your little one are welcome.

So if you’ve been watching from the sidelines thinking, “Maybe I’ll wait until the next term…”

When you book TinyTalk, yes—you are booking a baby signing class.

But I hope what you receive is so much bigger than that.

I hope you learn signs that become part of everyday life at home.

I hope you feel more confident recognising what your baby is trying to communicate.

I hope you have an hour each week where you can forget everything else and simply enjoy being together.

I hope you meet people.

I hope somebody remembers your name.

I hope you have a hot drink and a biscuit without having to make either of them yourself.

And I hope that somewhere along the way, TinyTalk starts feeling like your place.

Sometimes knowing exactly what's going to happen makes walking into somewhere new feel a little easier.

So here's your first TinyTalk class in a nutshell:

Start with around 30 minutes of signing, songs and play.

Followed by around 30 minutes of unstructured Social & Support time with a drink and a biscuit.

That's it.

You don't need to prepare.

You don't need to practise signs beforehand.

You don't need your baby to be in a particular mood.

And you definitely don't need to worry if you arrive five minutes late with one sock missing and no idea where you've put the muslin.

Come in.

Get comfortable.

I'll guide you through everything else.

One of the things that can make parents hesitate before booking a term is:

"But what if we can't make every week?"

Because… babies.

They get poorly.

Appointments appear.

Plans change.

And occasionally you wake up after a terrible night and decide that everyone staying in their pyjamas is the only sensible option.

I understand.

If you know you're going to miss a class, speak to me.

Where possible, we can look at whether there's an opportunity to attend one of my other classes instead.

I never want the realities of family life to make you feel like TinyTalk isn't for you.
