This week we are wishing two amazing members of staff all the best on their next adventures.

On Thursday, Kay finished work to begin her maternity leave as she gets ready to welcome her baby, and today we said farewell to Sam as he leaves to start an exciting new job.

We would like to thank them both for all their hard work and dedication. We’ll miss Kay while she’s away and can’t wait to meet the new arrival 👶, and we wish Sam every happiness and success in his new role.

We celebrated 🐝 Bee Day 🐝 at preschool today and had so much fun learning all about bees and why they are so important 🌼🍯

The children enjoyed making lovely bee crafts, exploring how bees help flowers grow, and buzzing around with lots of smiles and excitement 💛🖤

Such a fun and educational day for everyone!

Did you know popcorn can be dangerous for small children?

Due to it’s size and odd shape it can be difficult for little ones to chew and safely swallow. That makes it a big choking risk. But it also poses a risk of aspiration (where something is breathed into the lungs by accident) which in some cases can lead to pneumonia.

That’s why we recommend you avoid popcorn until your child is at least 5.

This morning our Big Bees 🐝 had a very special visit from a nurse! 🩺

The children were so curious and engaged as they learned all about how nurses help keep us healthy. They loved exploring the equipment, asking lots of questions, and even having a go at some role play!

It was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, develop new vocabulary, and learn about real-life roles in our community.

Well done, Big Bees you were amazing!

Yesterday the children had a wonderful surprise during their time in the woodland area! 🐸

While exploring around the pond, they spotted some frogs and were fascinated watching them hop and swim. It sparked lots of curiosity, conversations, and excitement as the children observed them in their natural habitat.

We talked about where frogs live, how they move, and why ponds are important for wildlife. A lovely hands-on learning moment and a great reminder of how special outdoor experiences can be!
