Annual Presentation Evening
Join us for one of the highlights of the year
at Kidderminster Harriers Social Club
on Saturday 26th September 2026
for a fantastic evening celebrating all our gymnasts’ achievements.
The evening will include:
• A medal for every gymnast who attends
• Trophies and certificates for our award winners
• A fun raffle with great prizes
• Plenty of dancing and entertainment for the whole family

This is always a fantastic family event and a wonderful opportunity to
celebrate another successful year, recognise the hard work and dedication of
our gymnasts, and enjoy an evening together as a club.
Tickets sell out every year, so be sure to book yours early to avoid
disappointment.

With temperatures set to soar this week, we’d like to share a few reminders with all our members.

Please remember to bring a drinks bottle to every session. We will happily refill any empty bottles to help keep the children hydrated throughout their training.

Please attend sessions wearing appropriate clothing, such as a short-sleeved leotard, or a T-shirt/vest with shorts, to help stay cool and comfortable.

Both of our gyms are fully air-conditioned. The air conditioning will be switched on for all sessions during the week to help maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.

Thank you for your support in helping us provide a safe, comfortable, and cool environment for all our members during the warmer weather.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AMAZING ADULT GYMNASTS
Our WFGS adults had a great weekend at the Adult British Championships at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

We are beyond proud of every gymnast who stepped up, challenged themselves, and represented the club with such determination, commitment, and passion. This was the first time the club had representation in every age group and ability level, and this is something we are very proud of.

We came away with a British Champion in the WAG Pro Over 30s category. Stacey had a dominant competition placing 1st on bars, beam, floor and overall. What an incredible achievement in her first year at this level.

In the WAG Introductory Categories, we had 4 competitors, all in their first WAG British Championships. �Sue – 8th Overall (Over 50s) 8th Vault, 5th Beam, 7th Floor�Kerry – 14th Overall (Over 40s) 10th Vault, 6th Bars�Chantel – 14th Overall (Over 30s) 6th Beam�Billie – 13th Overall (Over 18s) 10th Bars

Today we said goodbye to one of the family. After 10 years of hard work, dedication, and commitment in the gymnastics world, Alicia's journey with us comes to an end.

Along the way, we've shared countless memories, celebrated achievements, overcome challenges, and built friendships that will last a lifetime.

Alicia, whatever path you choose next, we wish you every success and happiness. Thank you for everything you've given over the years. We hope your next adventure brings you as much joy and fulfilment as you've brought to those around you.

But as one Cornflake flies the nest, the next generation of Cornflakes is only just beginning their journey in our gym family, and we're excited to watch them grow, learn, and create their own special memories.

You'll always be part of the family, and you'll be greatly missed. Good luck with whatever comes next, we know you'll be amazing.

What a fantastic weekend it has been!

We hosted our first Club Competition of the year, and everyone at WFGS would like to say a huge congratulations to all of our wonderful gymnasts who took part - from our youngest 4 year olds all the way up to our adult gymnasts.

Lots of medals were awarded and there were plenty of smiles all around!

You are all superstars, and all of the coaches are incredibly proud of every one of you.

A big thank you to our coaches, young leaders, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the weekend so special.
