I cannot wait to be teaching all about the AMAZING T-REX 🦖 ⭐️

Over the summer I got to meet ‘Jam’ at the natural history museum 🦴

It was such a fun experience and even as an adult I was a little scared 😂🙈

Looking forward to passing some of this knowledge on in my Home Ed T-Rex challenge 😀

Oodles amount of fun and learning to be had 💪 😁

Starting off with our T-Rex challenge in September 🦖 🦴

Then moving onto our Pumpkin challenge in October 🎃 💥

Just a girl who loves marine biology 🐳 🐬

Lucky to have a daughter that can appreciate and love the world around her 🌍 💚

She had HUGE amounts of fun visiting the National History Museum! 🦕 Watching her eager eyes and mind whirl with excitement, showed me how much learning in her own way has benefitted her ❤️🤩

Life is never always easy for children, but if you let them show you what matters most to THEM … you will see the world through their eyes 🥰😍 🌍

We had a great time learning all about ocean pollution 🌊 ❌

Sometimes children are only confronted by how amazing our sea creatures look but to ask them to solve an oil spillage created so many thoughts in their minds 🤔 💭

❓ How does it harm the animals?

❓How does it affect the oceans?

❓How do we get rid of it?

Such a great and simple activity to encourage further thought process! 💙

Who said online learning has to be boring? 😍🤩

Had such a lovely time with a student this morning, learning all about prepositional language 😍🥰 We definitely shared lots of laughs but also it’s so surprising how much practical activities help to consolidate learning ☀️

A simple story with a simple toy and the lesson becomes memorable ❤️💕

So lucky to teach engaged children who love to learn in fun and exciting ways 💫 ⭐️

Even as an adult you can see I was loving the lesson, who doesn’t like soft toys?! 🐵😂🤩

I often get asked if I still teach through the holidays ☀️🤩 And yes I do!! Why? 👇 ⭐️ I really enjoy teaching my students...

I often get asked if I still teach through the holidays ☀️🤩

And yes I do!!

Why? 👇
⭐️ I really enjoy teaching my students in Thailand and China and they continue their studies 🇨🇳 … to be able to exchange language and culture with my students is amazing!
⭐️ Lots of children still want to keep up with their lessons so they feel confident for their next school year ☺️😋
⭐️ My lessons are fun and hands on 🙌 I love being creative with learning and to show children of all ages that education is not just a table and worksheets! 🎨 Even as an adult ‘playing’ games is still so much fun 😂😆

What a fantastic end to our STEM course for my home ed students ⭐️😍

Marble runs accomplished ✅
Memories made ✅
Learning definitely taken place ✅

How proud am I of them? VERY!

Over the course of 5 weeks these children have learnt so much whilst having fun with friends. We learnt all about different forces, construction, DT and so much more!

Each child was awarded a STEM pawprint learning badge 🤖 to celebrate their learning and to allow the children to see how their resilience and hard work pays off 💪 ⭐️

And I couldn’t help but give them each a certificate and banner to show off their new badge 💫

Looking forward to seeing what September will bring 🤩🤩

My favourite moments this week were:

🌳 Spending time with family sat in a park with a packed lunch - something I do quite often!
🐢 Getting to watch an Aldebra Tortoise
🐋 Helping my daughter complete her marine biology unit
🦋 Having a butterfly land on my car window - reminding me to slow down ❤️

At the weekend we were lucky enough to visit the Titanic Exhibition in Birmingham 🤩⭐️ 🚢

We have been researching and exploring the titanic as a home ed project at home and it was great to get hands on and see some of the real artefacts from History!

I love history and thinking about how the past has and always will change the present 💭
