December 2025. What a busy month with all the children joining in with Christmas celebration activities and crafts to take home and share with their families. The focus was for the children to listen and follow simple instructions, math problems and talking about Santa.
Next for a break and return in the new year with lots of fun educational activities.

November 2025. Bonfire celebration/Festival. All the children used paints glitter glitter and chalks in various crafts. They also made breadstick fireworks as a treat. Remembrance Day was marked making a suncatcher Poppy naming the colours used. Even some of the older children made one. We also played with a poppy scarf and ball which was great fun. Children in need was marked by using yellow paint on a Pudsey picture which was loved by all.

November 5th November Bonfire Night. Today we celebrated the festival by making fireworks in the sky using paints and glitter. We also used chalk for a different texture. We then made a sweet treat but used chocolate as an experiment to see a solid become a liquid then a solid again. But to also talk of how dangerous fireworks and bonfires are. To say with your parents. Such a fun few mornings this week 🎇🎆

Autumn 2025

Autumn term 2025 till half term. The children have explored autumn changes with textures and colours using various tools to make marks. We also explored the story of the little RED HEN and talked of sharing and helping each other. We have explored autumn colours in various way and colour names are progressing well. As this half term has progressed the children are all progressing well in all the EYFS development stages. I’m very proud how the children are all progressing. A few traditional games for Halloween were played and Divali was celebrated with a story and pictures to explore and we made lanterns for the festival of light. Now all all look forward to the next half term to include bonfire night Remembrance Day children in need and Christmas celebration.

Summer term 2025. These are just a few pictures from our learning and fun we had this term. Lots of gross motor skills as the weather has been kind to us. Scooter and trike riding. Running in the fields and jumping in wet muddy puddles. Filling and emptying containers and making special cards and presents for Father’s Day using fingers to paint with. We’ve looked at shapes numbers textures and much more. We have one little girl leave to go to school this year and one to full time nursery. These girls will be missed but they are ready for their next stage of learning. I send them all my love and best of wishes as they move on.
Now we look forward to the summer holiday and in a flash it’s almost over ☀️
