Get • I hoped and prayed this day would never come. For 6 years I have visited these horses. It is the most special place. They only know humans as kindness. Thank you to everyone that has fought so hard to prevent this roundup. All the injunctions and court battles. It’s a sad reality to face that one day soon wild horses may not exist. 💔

Get • The last few days, I’ve been up before dawn watching the Mono Lake wild horses leave in trailers, headed to Double Devils Corral five hours away. At the same time, I’ve been receiving messages from Australia about brumbies being trapped and removed. Aerial culling is due to resume there in November.

For six years, I’ve sat in some of the most beautiful places with wild horses. What began as my peace has become my way of fighting.

We have all been indoctrinated in some way. None of us are free from it. So stop waiting to agree on everything before you act. The common ground already exists. We are all one species on one living planet and we are all watching it be destroyed in real time.

The masses uniting around that single truth is what the elites fear the most. Stop giving them the division they need. Nobody is coming to save us.

The drought conditions are perfect for our dry cows but having said that even their fat is getting fat 😑. Just like us ladies cows don’t want to be carrying too much weight before seeing the bull. My excuse is we’ve been out of dairying with no fixed abode for a good few years now so I did let things slip somewhat. But we’re getting there now the sales are picking up nicely 👍 the cows in milk have to have the best forage and are now two thirds of the way through this coming winters hay😬

This Watermelon Milk Soap is a collaboration between The Calf at Foot Dairy and the wonderful Emily of Milk Made Soap .

Emily is generously making the soap for us completely free of charge, donating her time, skill and work so that every single penny from every bar sold will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians.

The watermelon has become a symbol of Palestinian identity, resistance and solidarity. This soap is our way of standing visibly with the Palestinian people—not quietly caring from a safe distance, but being prepared to stick our necks out and say: we see what is happening, and we will not look away, which is the least any of us can do!

We know Palestine is not the only place where children and families are suffering. The people of Sudan, Congo, Yemen and other forgotten conflicts matter enormously too, and I personally donate to those causes whenever I can.

But supporting Palestine does not mean caring less about anybody else. This particular soap carries the colours and symbol of Palestine, and its purpose is clear: to show solidarity and raise urgently needed funds for Palestinian medical care.

All proceeds means ALL proceeds. Emily is making the soap without charge, and no production costs will be deducted.

It is only a bar of soap. It cannot stop bombs or bring back the children already lost. But it can raise money, carry a message and make it clear that we refuse to look away.
