👩‍🏫 This year I will be running some summer tutoring sessions on a Friday and bookings are now being taken. Places will be given on a first come first served basis so reserve your place as soon as possible. Please message me for more information. Old, new and present pupils welcome!

📖 Dyslexia assessments can be booked on any day of the week - subject to availability. I have very limited space in June and July but can be more flexible with assessment times throughout August.

✍️ Dyslexia reports are now being completed within TWO WEEKS providing all information is received before the assessment and no further investigations are needed which are identified in the assesssment. This is the quickest turn around time possible!

⭐ This means you can finish this year or start the next academic year with a full diagnostic report ready to go detailing your strengths and identifying any areas which need further consideration.

As we are now well into the last half term of the school year, now is the time to start arranging an assessment if you want it in time for the next academic year.

Assessment spaces in August still available, but I do require a questionnaire from the child’s school. If you’re interested in booking an assessment now is the time to start arranging it.

☺️ I have limited spaces remaining for assessments in July.
📖 I’m currently taking bookings for August and September.
🤔 If you’re considering a dyslexia assessment now is the best time to get it booked in so the background information can be competed by the teacher who has been working with your child all year and knows them best.
🤔 If you think your child may need a few sessions to complete the assessment the best time to book is in August, I’m happy to visit two or three times to complete an assessment (a full assessment takes up to three hours).
🚨 Year 6 and Year 9 - if you’re moving on to another school or key stage this is the perfect time to get assessed before the next leap in education.

Here is a bit of information about me and my dyslexia assessments.

✏️ I carry out full diagnostic dyslexia assessments for children and young people up to the age of 18 in their own home.

👩‍🎓 I am an experienced primary school teacher and qualified SENDCo. I have Approved Teacher Status (ATS) and a PGCert in SpLD (dyslexia). I am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA).

📖 Fully insured.

🗺 Based in Kidderminster, West Midlands and I will travel within a 10 mile radius of these areas for full diagnostic assessments. Assessments further afield can be arranged for an additional fee.

Great advice!

Homework struggles aren’t just about the work itself — they’re often about how the environment feels after a long school day.

When we set the scene with time to decompress, a snack, and a calmer pace, we give children the best chance to engage without overwhelm.

And if homework is consistently causing stress, it’s okay to speak with school — support and adjustments should be part of the conversation.
