Is your child a fluent reader? Or are they struggling with their reading?
In Reception and Year 1, children start to build up their knowledge of sounds to help them segment and blend new unfamiliar words. If your child is struggling to do this and you would like to ask me for advice, get in touch and I will give you some tips on how to support your child at home to become a confident reader.

As lockdown rules are easing and i have had my 1st covid vaccination, i will be resuming face to face private tutoring. If your child needs to have a block of lessons to help catch up on their phonics, maths, or english skills and are in primary classes KS1 or KS2, message me for information and prices, to start after the Easter Holidays.

Well it's almost Easter, how have your children settled back at primary school? Socialising is so important and getting children back with friends at school is such a great feeling for teachers, children and parents. Let's hope the lovely weather stays with us to keep us all smiling.

After last nights lockdown news, some parents may be worrying about their children missing out on vital learning, or how am i going to support learning and working from home. It is a genuine worry and schools will be providing online learning in various forms over the coming weeks.
Tutoring is a great way to support personalised learning for your child on a 1:1 regular basis. I can offer Zoom online lessons tailored to your child's needs, what ever they may be. Online, Face to Face learning, interactive with all the Zoom tools. Tutoring can still be fun and interactive even online. When it is safe to do so i will be back to my normal tutoring which takes place in your own home, with my big bag of resources.
