A moment to celebrate our trophy winners at Step to the Stars Dance Competition. We are always so proud of all of our Spotlight Stars but we were super proud of these girls, for being recognised at our recent competition.
✨🏆HIGHEST MARK PRIMARY DUET🏆✨
Elodie & Alannah not only won their lyrical duet section with a huge 88 marks, they also won the trophy for the highest mark out of all the Primary duets. The cheekiest pair who just love dancing together on stage - well done girls, we are so proud of you!!
✨🏆 HIGHEST MARK JUNIOR SOLO 🏆✨
Lily, who also won the Lyrical B section, then came away with the trophy for the highest mark out of all other junior solos. Lily was one of the first dancers to compete a solo with Spotlight and to see her recognised like this makes us so proud, well done for all of your hard work Lily!
✨🏆 JUNIOR CABARET GROUP 🏆✨
Our superstar group dancers, who worked so hard in hot, heatwave rehearsals leading up to the competition, won their Junior Cabaret Group section. We are so proud of you all and it is such a joy to see you all growing in confidence every time you perform!
✨🏆‘STAR OF THE FUTURE’ PRIMARY🏆✨
Wow! Elodie was chosen for this by the adjudicator. To have watched Elodie grow from a shy little 3 year old who came to Spotlight’s very first class to the sassy, confident and beautiful dancer that she is becoming is so lovely to see and even better when it is recognised by somebody else! Her love for dance shines through every time she goes on stage and we are so proud of you!

Dollie has been dancing with us for a year now and to see her confidence grow in that time has been really special to watch. Dollie pours her heart into every performance she does. Musicality is something that can’t be taught but something that comes from within - Dollie you have such a talent and we can’t wait to see where this takes you next!
