We are here for them every step of the way, with Positive Progress 121 Training, to help them transform and evolve into their new loving home ✨️

Does your dog find busy environments overwhelming?

Do they bark persistently? At vehicles or people?

Hide under tables or beneath your feet?

Are they anxious over meeting new dogs or new people?

Do they get startled at noises?

Are they persistent in play with dogs?

Do they run and jump over dogs or barge into them?

Are they very over-excited, fast and pestering in a dog group environment?

Sometimes over arousal (over excited) or anxiety can present itself, in lots of different or unusual ways.

We have a small team of very knowledgeable trainers, who are considerate, patient & will give your doggo the attention and care they need to meet their sensitive needs.

The hour walk is £18, your doggo will be walked solo or paired with one other dog, who is compatible & will either bring out the confidence in your dog, in the right ways.

Welcome to Maddy 👋 (grey, cream coloured fox-like dog) is a rescue from Romania

Maddy is the sweetest, most sensitive soul, who is learning to trust this big, wide world 💫

Maddy has been fostered by Rory's mum and dad (our Adventure Dog on our Adventure Days for almost 3 years) .....

They have introduced her to a lead and harness for the first time in her life!

She has spent her life making her own choices, having independence & in control of her own exposures....

To; new smells, new environments, new confinements on a lead (learning to be a pet). Whilst there are many magical moments for her, like; enjoying and embracing the connection and love from Rory's family and now joining Teenage Dirtbags.....

With 🌿Consideration 🌿 as part of our mission, we are considerate of understanding her anxieties, her overwhelm, her uncertainty & sensitivities.

On our first day, we spent the day observing her behaviours and body language, understanding what her quirks are, seeing her responses to certain situations, gently and shortly exposing her to new environments, introducing her to calm, confident dogs for her to mirror (we knew she was very social with other dogs). Introducing positive "stooge" dogs, helps others, who show fear-based behaviours, to help them grow confidence, this coupled with positive reinforcement & behavioural transformation approaches

For example, she can learn from us all, as we walk into a building or pass a bike or walk up steps, without fear and with confidence and grace 💫

Lots of positive reinforcement, nervous system regulating techniques, building up focus and engagement and changing the way she FEELS in each moment, is our goal 💫

This is the most rewarding & emotional, part of our jobs, when you watch a dog to positively progress, towards confidence, connection and feeling safe ✨️
