As we head into a new term, there are so many mixed emotions! 🥹❤️
There’s the excitement of new beginnings and new adventures, welcoming some lovely new children into my setting and getting to know their little personalities, interests and quirks. 🧸🎨✨
But there’s also that bittersweet feeling as some of the children I’ve cared for move on to their next big adventure — starting school. 🎒📚 It’s always such a proud moment watching them grow from tiny little ones into confident, independent children ready to take on the world… although I’m not going to lie, there are always a few tears from me! 🥹
I’d also like to say a huge thank you to all the parents for the incredibly thoughtful gifts and kind words. They really do mean so much and are a lovely reminder of how special it is to be trusted to care for your little ones. ❤️
So here’s to a new term filled with friendships, laughter, learning, messy play, adventures and lots of happy memories! 🌈
To all the children starting nursery, school or a new setting, I wish you the very best as you begin your next chapter. And to those staying with me, I can’t wait to see what adventures this new term brings! 🥰
