🌼 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY🌼

To support World Mental Health Day on 10th October, tomorrow we are inviting all students and staff to swap one item of their uniform for something yellow and help raise money for a great cause.

💛 Yellow socks 💛 Yellow ribbon or lapel accessory 💛 Yellow hair accessory 💛 Yellow t-shirt (under blazer/jumper where appropriate) 💛 Or another yellow item of your choice

⚠️ Please note: This is not a non-uniform day. Students should wear their normal school uniform and simply replace one item with something yellow.

💷 Suggested donation: £1 All proceeds will be donated to Mind, supporting mental health in our local community.

Together, let’s wear yellow, start conversations, and show our support for positive mental health. 💛

Thank You for Joining Us! ⭐

A huge thank you to all the families who attended our Open Evening last night. We were delighted to welcome over 1,000 visitors through our doors and showcase everything that makes Kettering Science Academy such a special place to learn and grow.

It was fantastic to see so many prospective students and their families exploring the academy, meeting our staff, and experiencing the vibrant learning environment we are so proud of.

A special thank you must also go to our incredible students, who represented KSA brilliantly throughout the evening. Their confidence, enthusiasm and willingness to share their experiences truly reflected the values and spirit of our school.

Thank you for making the evening such a success. We look forward to welcoming many of you back again soon!💜

☕ Join Us for a Parent Coffee Morning ☕

At KSA, we believe that working together makes a real difference to our students' success.

We are inviting parents and carers of students in Years 7-11 to join us for an informal Coffee Morning to discuss attendance, share any concerns, and learn about the support available to help your child thrive at school.

This is a great opportunity to:
✅ Talk with staff about your child's attendance
✅ Share any concerns or barriers affecting attendance
✅ Learn about strategies and support available
✅ Meet other parents and carers in a welcoming environment

Regular attendance plays a vital role in academic progress, wellbeing and building positive relationships at school. We look forward to working together to support every student to achieve their best.

Bookings are now live via Arbor Guardian Consultations for our Meet the Tutor Evening on Thursday 24 September.

This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s tutor, review the goals set during Reconnection at KSA discuss progress and wellbeing, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

Tomorrow is Reconnection at KSA!

We're excited to welcome all students back for a day dedicated to:
✅ Reconnecting with friends
✅ Reconnecting with tutors and staff
✅ Reconnecting with learning
✅ Looking ahead to a successful year

📍 Students should arrive as normal for an 8:45am start.

👕 Students should attend in their KSA PE kit to take part in the range of activities planned throughout the day. KSA uniform may be worn if preferred.

🌟 From team building and reflection activities to outdoor challenges and goal setting, Reconnection at KSA is all about building confidence, strengthening relationships and preparing for a successful year ahead.

🎈 2 Days to Go!

What's a Reconnection Day without some fun?

Every year group will enjoy an outdoor session with inflatables and other activities through the day designed to encourage teamwork, connection and confidence as we begin the new academic year together.

👕 To help students make the most of the day's activities, we recommend that students arrive in their KSA PE kit. KSA uniform may also be worn if preferred.

We can't wait to see the KSA community back together again!
