I wrote this song last month for FAWM 2026 (February Album Writing Month). It’s called Honest To God.
(Oh, and forgive my whistling # #; I couldn’t fit a marimba in our dining room.)

Boo Hewerdine and Friends – what a weekend that was!
Thank you to Bob Cheatham, Stevie Jones and at VicsGigs for inviting me and to all the other excellent performers, especially and Ross for playing alongside me.

Highlights: Kris Drever’s amazing performance, dancing (believe it) to Tamsin Elliot’s wondrous instrumentals, chatting to Boo afterwards, but mostly the love vibe in the room for the unique thrill of being in the moment with live music. ❤️

Thank you to Bob Whale for videoing Ross Alexander II and me last night performing Nick Drake's Northern Sky for the first time.
