Just like that, the classroom doors have closed for the summer!

Yesterday students enjoyed their 'End of Year Celebration Assemblies' marking the end of another busy school year.

We wish all our students, families and staff a safe and restful break. Thank you for all your hard work and see you in September!

Congratulations to all our Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh students. They took part in their Bronze Award earlier this week, and all passed with flying colours! The weather did not dampen their spirits, and lifelong memories were made. A very big thank you to Mrs Rogers-Hussey & Mrs Kaur who accompanied them on their adventures.

✨ Inspiring Creative Voices✨

We were absolutely delighted to welcome visiting author Matt Goodfellow to school this week, who spent time working with our Year 7 students in a series of engaging and thought-provoking creative poetry workshops.

Throughout the sessions, students were encouraged to explore and express their authentic, inner voices, discovering how poetry can be a powerful way to capture thoughts, emotions and personal experiences. It was fantastic to see our students responding so enthusiastically: writing with confidence, taking creative risks, and beginning to see themselves as poets in their own right.

A huge thank you to Matt and to Miss Wood for creating such a memorable and impactful dayβ€”one that will no doubt continue to inspire our young writers long after today.πŸ“–πŸ™ŒβœοΈβœ¨
