Northants SEND Mummas have lots of events taking place throughout October for SEND parents, carers and families. 💛

October is packed with lovely opportunities to meet other parents and carers, make new friends, have a cuppa, and feel part of a supportive community. 🩷

Whether you’re new to the SEND journey, looking for advice and support, or simply fancy getting out and meeting people who understand — you’re very welcome at our events. 🫶

✨ Thursday 1st October – Sound Bath, Mill Farm | 7–8:30pm

📚 Tuesday 13th October – Book Club, Zapato Lounge | 11am–1pm

🐴 Sunday 18th October – Pony & Farm Meet-Up | 1:30–2:45pm (waiting list)

☕ Wednesday 21st October – Rushden Meet-Up, Café 1615 (venue may change)| 11am–1pm - Guest visitors north SENDIASS

🧘‍♀️ Saturday 24th October – Wellness Class with Nadia 12.30-2pm Mes Amie’s dance studio Kingsthorpe

& Kids Yoga 3-4pm with Wonder and whisper Moulton community centre

☕ Monday 26th October – Parent Meet-Up, Genevieve’s Café, Upton | 12–2pm

💜 SHARING ON BEHALF OF SEA OF SUPPORT 💜

Sea Of Support S.O.S Networking Page are hosting their next Evening Meeting at Kingsley Special Academy, where they will be joined by Hope UK.

They recognise that conversations around drug choices can be difficult for families, but they are also incredibly important. This evening will provide an opportunity to listen, learn and access support.

📅 13th October
🕢 7:30pm–9:30pm
📍 Kingsley Special Academy

The evening will be followed by SENDIng Out an SOS | Navigating Your SEND Journey with Sea of Support, and Sea of Support will also be available for 1:1 appointments.

Usually, the evening meetings are open to drop-ins and you don't need to confirm attendance. However, Hope UK would like to bring enough resources for parents/carers to take home, so if you are planning to attend, it would be really helpful to let Sea of Support know beforehand.

🎉 Welcome Back Everyone! 🎉

We're excited to welcome all our pupils, families and staff back for another fantastic year.

As we begin a new term, we're looking back at some wonderful memories from last year's end-of-year disco. 🕺💃

We look forward to making many more special memories this year and can't wait to see what the year has in store as our pupils continue to learn, grow, achieve, and shine. 🌟

✨ As we look back on another incredible school year, we're proud to celebrate some of the many highlights that have made this year so special.

From exciting trips and themed days to sporting achievements, creative projects, performances and everyday moments of learning, our pupils have continued to impress us with their enthusiasm, resilience and kindness.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, supportive families and, most importantly, our wonderful pupils for making this year one to remember. We're delighted to share some of our favourite memories with you.

✨ Yesterday we turned the playground into a party! 🎉

With music, dancing, bubbles and water play, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces having fun together, making memories and enjoying time with friends.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Wrighting for Kettering MP and the Mayor of Kettering for taking the time to attend SEN Fest and show their support for our community.

Their presence helped highlight the importance of creating inclusive events where families, children, and young people can come together, have fun, and feel supported.
It was wonderful to welcome them to SEN Fest and share the fantastic atmosphere, activities, and community spirit that made the day so special.

Thank you both for supporting our SEN community and helping make SEN Fest a memorable event for everyone involved. 🌟💙
