Leavers party 🥰 Celebrating our 3 children leaving for school 🦋
It has been such a pleasure watching you all grow, learn, and flourish during your time with us. You have all come so far since starting coming to us as little babies and we couldn’t be prouder of the confident little people you are all becoming. Wishing you lots of happiness and fun as you start your next big adventure! We will miss you lots and lots !! But thankfully you will all still come to Bec Becs before and after school or in the school holidays which makes me smile 😊 Enjoy your school journey # #

Feeling rather cross but grateful we do a risk assessment whenever we go somewhere . Some people have no respect …please take your litter home and why would you decide to smash bottles in the woods ??? 🙄😩

Lovely picnic and paint in our favourite place using natural resources and chalks to create colours 🎨💐
Thank you Barton Seagrave Parish Council for this lovely area 🥰

100% !! We have families too # # #
💔 The recent news of another educator losing their life has left many of us reflecting.
As childminders, we often carry so much.
We care for children with patience, kindness and endless energy.
We support families, manage paperwork, keep up with the ever changing regulations, run a business, and somehow try to be everything to everyone.
But who looks after you?
Looking after yourself isn’t selfish. It isn’t a luxury. It’s essential.
When your own cup is empty, it becomes so much harder to keep pouring into everyone else’s.
Today, I want to remind every childminder that it’s okay to:
💚 Take a break when you can. ✔️
💚 Finish work on time.
💚 Say NO to taking on too much.
💚 Ask for help.
💚 Rest without feeling guilty. ✔️
💚 Talk to someone if you’re struggling.
⭐️This last one is so important. If you have no one to talk to, share in a group. Don’t keep anything in.
❤️ You matter just as much as the children and families you care for.
The early years sector needs compassionate, healthy, supported professionals, not exhausted ones trying to hold everything together alone.
Let’s make looking after ourselves just as important as looking after everyone else.
If you’re a childminder reading this today, this is your reminder:
💚 You are irreplaceable.
💚 Your wellbeing matters.
💚 And you should never have to struggle in silence.
PLEASE LOOK AFTER YOURSELF.
