We’re late in the day, but we just wanted to take the chance to wish a very happy Father’s Day to those in our club, be they students, volunteers, parents of students, or just those following our journey. 💙 👨🏻

We also see you if today is difficult for you. If you have a difficult relationship with your father, or children, or if you’re doing the job of two parents and crushing it. If you’re dreaming of starting a family, or finding today in any way difficult, we got you too. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day!

As many of you know, it was Sensei Aidan’s birthday over the weekend, and he celebrated by… coming to the dojo 🤣

He also brought in treats for everyone which was amazing 🤩🍩

We didn’t want to give away his age (now he’s getting on a bit) so these candles seemed fitting!

Happy birthday to Sensei Aidan 🎈🎂

Two very important facts.

1. We have never seen Sensei Aidan and the Easter Bunny in the same room at the same time.
2. Sensei Aidan was away last weekend, and no one knows where he went.

The important thing is, he’s back now! Few pics from tonight’s class, reverse punches from our Cadet class, and Tekki Shodan from our higher grade class!

Seishin Karate is proud to announce that we have just taken delivery of 4 AI based class assistants. The “Sensei Ed” units will be distributed to each of our clubs, with the 4th going to Sensei Aidan’s house because he is, and I quote, “fed up of doing his own washing”.

The units will be in classes going forward to help make corrections, facilitate games, and also shoot any criminals who refuse to comply within 15 seconds.

Say hello to Sensei Ed when you see him in class!

Oss everyone! To allow our students, volunteers, and instructors to enjoy the Easter weekend break with their families, we will be closed this weekend across all of our clubs. So there will be no classes at Kettering dojo on Sunday the 5th of April. No other classes are changed, just that one! 🙂

Where we've remained open in previous years, attendance is incredibly low. If students want to make up the lesson count, remember we always allow students to attend our other clubs, for free, regardless of how many lessons they've done at Kettering dojo!

We always love when a student bring in treats for the class to celebrate their birthday 🎂 ❤️

But it’s really special when they’re karate themed like these karate gingerbread cookies! 🍪🥋

Not the first front kick I’ve eaten this week, but definitely the most enjoyable! 🥳 🙇🏻

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums in our Seishin family - whether you're on the mats yourself, cheering from the sidelines, or driving to and from the dojo week after week! Your love and dedication doesn't go unnoticed, and we're so grateful for everything you do.

We also want to gently acknowledge that today can be a difficult day for many, for those who have lost their mum, those whose relationships are complicated, or those longing to be mothers. You are seen, and you are not alone. Wishing everyone in our community a day of kindness. 🥋🩷
