A few from science week! 🧪💥

This week we have been learning all about flowers. The children explored the different parts of a flower, talked about what plants need to grow, and enjoyed a range of hands-on activities that encouraged curiosity and learning.

We also had a lovely visit to Fermyn Woods Country Park, where the children explored nature, spotted wildflowers, and enjoyed discovering the outdoors while developing their confidence and understanding of the natural world.

The children had so much fun celebrating together, and it was the perfect way to mark the end of their journey with us.

We will miss each and every one of them and have loved watching them grow, learn, and flourish over the past couple of years. Wishing them all the very best as they start their next adventure! 🌟💖

Over the past few weeks, we've been exploring shapes, colours, and dinosaurs through lots of fun, hands-on activities! 🦖🎨🔺 The children have enjoyed learning through creative play, stories, arts and crafts, and sensory experiences while developing their confidence, language, and early learning skills. 💚

The children have enjoyed a range of exciting activities, including sensory and creative experiences inspired by sea life and the beach. Water play has been a particular favourite, providing lots of opportunities for exploration, imaginative play, and developing fine motor skills while keeping cool and having fun! 🚿🐚🐠

As most of you know, we have now moved over to Geddington Village Hall, and I am now co-childminding with my daughter, Jasmine. The move has been brilliant, and all the children have settled in so well and are very happy.

The past two weeks have been incredibly busy and full of fun activities. We have been exploring space and planets, building our very own rocket ship, celebrating World Bee Day, and enjoying our Music Makers and Hartbeeps sessions together

Proud to share that we received an Outstanding grade for the 2nd time! I am extremely proud of myself, the team and of course the wonderful children who make it all happen! 🥳

This week we have continued our learning about bugs and minibeasts. Heather kindly brought in some frog spawn and tadpoles, and the children have been very excited to observe them closely. We have been talking about the life cycle of a frog and noticing how they grow and change over time. The children have enjoyed sharing their ideas, making predictions, and using lots of descriptive language. This has also helped us explore different habitats and how we care for living things 🐸
